It’s just good ‘ol fashioned lag causing this. Your local client has moved you out of the point of impact before the game server finally gets around to telling it that you got knocked down by the meteor, so it drags you back and puts you on the ground. Fix the lag and this won’t happen.

Someone build me a time machine back to 2014 when ZOS cared about PvP and we didn't have lag.

The harsh economic reality is 50 casuals who play for 3 weeks and buy 5 packs of crowns are worth 900 pvp'ers who bought base game only.
