Caught what? All the Eidetic Memory books, of course. It took a very long time, especially because we had to wait for ZOS to get around to making some books available after their quest as well. It took going behind enemy lines in Cyrodiil to catch more than a few notes and letters. It took several trips to the Imperial City to look for bookshelves among all things, amidst Daedra and enemy players alike, and it took dedication, persistence and more than a little whining on the forums in order to get the last few bugged and glitched books fixed ;)

But here it is, all the Eidetic Memory books complete:

DcNGv0m.jpg

The numbers underlined on top with red are the Eidetic lorebooks + Shalidor's Library (which I also have completed) + crafting motifs. So the reason they don't add up is that I'm missing 5-6 Ordinator motif pages, as well as 13 pages of Worm Cult that of course won't be available for anyone until the Jester's Festival. There's also a single book not available in the rituals and revelations category, as you can see in the second picture. That book, called "Note from Vanus" is most likely going to appear with the Summerset Chapter prologue quest, so it's not available for anyone yet.

So apart from that Vanus Galerion note that isn't in the game yet, this is a full Eidetic Memory section. And it doesn't even come with any achievement or anything, thanks ZOS!

At least I have a nice, large section of books, notes and letters available to read when bored in the queue for Cyrodiil or the dungeons, so there's that!

And thanks to ZOS for getting around to fixing the last few books that weren't available, it's a nice gesture at least, for those of us who care about silly things like this.

There needs to be a "Loremaster" Achievement/Title added to the game. And you need it.

And I thought the accomplishment of achieving the titles of “Librarian” and “Master Angler” were impressive. This on the other hand... Omfg. Well done, op. I don’t think I’ve heard of another person pulling this off. So you just may be the first.

There has to be a title for completing this. Historian or scholar maybe?

I take it you used the lorebooks add-on on PC to do this?

I have been trying to do this on console, but a lot of locations are missing from the wiki's.

I did yes. But lorebooks doesn't always show the locations, or the right locations, at least it has ben the case for some of them, I suppose the addon gets updated frequently to make up for that.

So while I'm certainly very grateful for Lorebooks, I did have to supplement it with a hell of a lot of googling, especially threads here on the forums, as well as of course the Eidetic Memory thread here on the forums, where people have been of great help for some really stubborn books.

And very kind thanks for all the praise and awesomes, it does make up for the lack of title or achievement a little bit =p

Well, I actually had thought several other people had done this before me, I know of a lot of others who hunt the books with much dedication. But hey, if no one comes out to contradict, I'll be happy to take the title of the first completionist =D

Now to wait for the Worm Cult motif to come out, for the Vanus Galerion note to appear in the game, as well as get the last 5 Ordinator pages i lack, for even more completion ...

Not only am I an avid bibliophile and collector and completionist, I am also an avid reader, so you may just get what you wish for =p

Jokes aside, I did read and enjoy all the books in the Skyrim game (as well as the Lost Library mod that adds in all the lorebooks back from Oblivion, Morrowind and other TES games), and I wasn't kidding when I wrote that I'll have some nice stuff to read when waiting in a queue or something. While I perhaps won't get around to read all 3653 of the books, I certainly plan to read many of the interesting ones, as well as re-read some of the ones I already known from earlier TES games. There's so much great lore, backstories and fluff inside some of these books!
