Garlic String furnishing recipe does not exist?

There's an entry for it in ESO Fashion. But there are no hits in TTC, and I found this old thread from last year that never got any responses: Garlic on a string - blueprint not dropping. The old thread was in Bug Reports but maybe it's supposed to be this way and reports of this recipe's existence are erroneous? I'd like to see some sort of answer from devs, please. @ZOS_GinaBruno?

Thank you, that gives me hope. I guess they are just super, super rare, then. It's unusual for me to not find any entries for something whatsoever in TTC, and that old thread made me really uneasy about it. Is it a purple or gold recipe?

Me too... dropped from a container in GLENUMBRA. I immediately thought 'cool!" because of the recipe's that use garlic... then remembered that it's not actually usable

There are a lot of plans that have never been found...but with the missing blues from Morrowind being in the furnisher's documents maybe some of the missing greens are in base game now

Now about all those Gold plans for things the Luxury Furnisher has been selling and mounted trophies that we can't get in dungeons....

You can also obtain them in the crown store IIRC. They aren’t even expensive.

I've farmed hundreds and hundreds of these recipes/blueprints, and have never found one.

That may be, but some of us are crafters and recipe hunters, and don't really care to go to the crown store to buy stuff that's available in the game.

That said, i looked at both PC EU and PC NA TTC sites and didn't even see a single entry, and like others, I have searched extensively for recipes and now have all the base game racial recipes (redguard, dunmer, orc etc) as well as every Vvardenfell recipe, while not having come across even a single one of these supposed garlic string recipes.

So it does make it a little hard to believe that they do indeed drop, unless someone can confirm it with a screenshot proof.

Uhm... you do know that's not what I asked for.

Obviously the item exists if you can buy it forom the crown store. I asked for a screen of the RECIPE or of a character that is able to craft it, you know.

And for the hundreth time, that isn't proof of anything.

There are plenty of datamined recipes that have been identified by various addons without them having a single chance whatsoever of dropping in our current game.

That a 3rd party website claims this is from a recipe does nothing more than identify that within the game files there is indeed a recipe for this item, without telling us if it ACTUALLY drops at all.

Case in point: Teapot, common, which this website also erroneously informs is available as a crafting diagram, which it is NOT, as every furniture recipe collector will tell you. Just another case of false information on a website that relies solely on datamined content.

So unless someone posts a screenshot of the actual recipe ingame, or of a character that has it learned, I'll continue to call BS on this.

Especially in the light of none of the recipe hunters having seen this recipe anywhere, nor TTC having identified a single recipe for sale on neither the EU nor NA PC servers ever, which I consider to be highly unlikely if not downright impossible.

Come on, ZoS, fix the garlic string recipe. If it's dropping then it's clearly too rare for what should be a fairly common thing. It's only garlic.

My housing guild Hearthlight is chockablock with obsessive furnishing recipe completists who farm hours and hours for recipes. We in our entirety have never seen one drop up to this point. IF the recipe was added in the last update as a world drop, we would likely have seen it in trade kiosks by now, unless it's gatekeepered behind an additional action, like pickpocketing a specific NPC type and/or a drop in a very specific location, which could slow the introduction of the recipe to traders. There is no point in speculation until somebody can post proof as Carbonised has said; the recipe does not exist, unfortunately.

March 2019 and STILL not available except in CROWN store. I believe that is a very greedy move on the devs and not a very wise one given they are cheap but still SHOULD BE available in the game. PERIOD.

There are many furnishings in the game like this, garlic string is by far not a special case.

I have had to buy with crowns every time I wanted one.
I'm pretty sure that the recipe doesn't exist.
It has never been on any store or the TTC Website when I have looked, and I have looked quite often.
I wouldn't hold much hope of it dropping.
