Troll King and Green Dragons Blood

Does Troll King not work with Green Dragons Blood? I can't get it to proc. I can with Vigor, but not GDB. Clearly they are both heals. Anyone know?

Yeah, I guess maybe it waits to proc until after you use the heal ability, and then checks your health.
I just tried again, where I got very low health, healed to above 50%, but quickly got below 50% again, and it still didn't proc.
So, apparently, you have to use the heal ability, it checks immediately if you are below 50%. If you are, then it procs. If not, then you don't get, even if you fall below 50% within the 10 seconds that Troll King is supposed to be active. So TK is almost useless when using GDB.0 -

If you're making a tank DK and investing heavily into Hp and magicka, then GDB is actually better than vigor since it scales from missing HP. such a build will be useless outside of debuffing, CC'ing people, but people still play block bot DKs anyways.0 -

DK Tank. Playing around with different options and builds for no healer setups. And yes, GDB works nicely on the tank in many scenarios. But Troll King didn't work the way I thought it would, but I had never used it.0 -

Yes, that's exactly how it works. It's more consistent to keep up a HOT rather than hope a burst heal lands you under 50%. I found it easier to just cast Igneous then GDB. You get major mending. Then you can use a Monster Set like Chuden or Bloodspawn etc. If you run chuden you can drop Spiked Armor and maybe use Cinder StormEdited by D0PAMINE on February 18, 2019 10:26PM0
