Probably because you dyed your outfit and not your actuall armor? Once you are at the outfit station switch to "No Outfit" to dye your armor the "pre-outfit" way. You can't dye weapons that way though.1 -

lies. all these activities has costs. There are energy costs for example. Then there's the cost of the effort you have to spend for example friendships have to be maintained, you have to spend a lot of time with them.1 -

The No Outfit screen has your actual equipped armor and does not allow you to dye weapons. There is no gold charge.
Its confusing because the Outfit 1 option looks exactly like your equipped armor but does charge you to dye and allows you to dye weapons.0
