Are there any classes (or class specs) that you just cannot bring yourself to play? For example, I cannot for the life of me, bring myself to play a magplar. I have one of every class (two of NB and Sorc each), except Templar. It just seems like such a boring class, always spamming jabs and occasionally BoL. Maybe if we had spear weapons or something I would make one, but for now? Nah, no way. Maybe you can love playing all stam specs except for...uhhh...stam warden. Maybe you love all magic classes except magplar.

DKs and I simply don't get on. For the life of me, I cannot grok that class. I just end up running around spitting fire and thwacking things with the whip and it's kind of ... meh.

I'm sure it's me though, just not understanding what I'm missing.

Dragonknight.I dunno, there's just something about the class that I just can't get the hang of. That and my first character was a DK, and I deleted her for my own good. (It's a long story)

I'm way too drawn to healing to play anything but a Templar.I'm trying out a Nightblade, but keep going back to my healer.

Hate sNB. It is the worst designed class ever. No heals, no utility, it is basically a PVP gank only 1 dimensional mess and yet they have frequently nerfed what little it actually does well. Sure you can do that well (so they will probably nerf it again) still but that is it man. Oh, and is also has terrible NB ultis. My sNB kajjit is sitting in mag gear and never being run as I write this.

I also dislike Templar in general both stam and mag. I used to like magplar for heals and I would still use it but that is because I have it and can't figure out what else to do with it and not because I think it genuinely better. Templar is very low mobility and has a lot of channels that try to get you killed. Templars unique group utilities are now all redundant and It is also very dependent on a few skills that used to be good (sweeps, breath, shards) that have just been nerfed to the ground. That is probably the biggest issue with templar, especially the mag one, it has just been 1,2,3, times nerfed to the ground. I liked it in the imp city days (it was frankly op then) but it just fails to impress now. Also, it's ulti's, like the NB ones, are mostly garbage and since they have nerfed the destro ult, that matters a great deal more now.

On a side note, How can DK have all 3 ultis of value, Warden 2 and NB and Templar have 0 together. Oh yea, you nerfed and cost increased them until they sucked.
I am currently worried for the future of ESO. Population seems like it is in free fall and the cancellation of the North America in-person gathering feels very much like pulling the plug. Kudos on fixing the in-game economy though. Clearly whatever gold shenanigans were happening the last couple years are fixed.

Nightblades are literally the Genji of ESO. Not only are they incredibly: Annoying, cheesy, and full of bs passives. But, just like Genji is the favorite hero of the OW devs, Nightblades are the favorite class of the ESO devs.

I don’t know what it is with game developers having a fetish for rogues and assassins, and having a huge bias for them. But, it’s getting corny and played out.

Yeah, I have a huge problem actually with classes and molds, like it took me months to realize that the "classes" in Dark Souls were just starting templates for if you're making a STR, DEX, INT, or FTH char. Once I see a mold, it takes me a long time to break out of it. For awhile, I couldn't play NB as anything besides stam, or Sorcs as anything besides mag.

I did have an Imperial Stamplar on the PTS recently that was quite fun to play, but I don't have room on live for him.

Magplars are the most fun ranged DPS class I play. He is basically my main at this point. No sweeps required (except in vMA)

I don't like playing a DPS nightblade, maybe its just because of Aussie ping but its a hard rotation to do for me.

Yeah... I play a PvP magplar that is also built to handle vet PvE stuff reasonably well with a gear and skill swap, and in neither configuration do I just spam Puncturing Sweep. In fact, I regularly don't slot Puncturing Sweep at all. (I'm assuming that's what was meant, not Jabs, given that OP was saying they don't play Magplars, and if you're running Jabs on a Magplar you're REALLY doing it wrong.)

But yeah. Magplars in particular have a lot of spell versatility. I also play a Stamplar, and that's definitely a more limited setup (I have all of three class skills slotted across both bars at any given time).

    Nightblades and Wardens

I've tried both, and I just didn't like the feel of them. Tbh, I found the warden, boring and kind of lack luster.

Maybe I haven't looked hard enough, but if I could find a way to make a pure Nightblade Ranger, using a bow as a main, then I would probably more inclined to give NB's a try again. I haven't found much though

I love healing on my Warden. My Templar sits unused.
Opposite here, I love the templar healer, however I find sorcerer healer even better in pugs, 360 degree emergency heal who can be positioned, DD level damage, almost as good sustain as warden.
No you can not aim the balls but it probably work better with the synergy fixes.
found warden a bit clunky to use. Now in PvP, took warden there for the geode twice, and yes I agree with the pvp players.
A bit like sorc healer feel in pve.
Grinding just make you go in circles.

Pretty much stamina anything, which is weird because I usually prefer melee warrior style classes in other games, but here I find stamina builds to be very stressful and full of complex rotations compared to magicka.
Then again, I don't really play dps much at all because I hate dealing with animation cancelling to maximize performance.

I have 5 characters, one of each class (wish they'd release a sixth class for symmetry) and out of those two are tanks, two are healers, and one is dps.

    My current character list:
    Night blade healer
    Templar healer
    Dragon knight tank
    Warden tank
    Magsorc dps
    PS4 / NA
    M'asad - Khajiit Nightblade - Healer
Pakhet - Khajiit Dragonknight - Tank
Raksha - Khajiit Sorcerer - Stamina DPS
Bastet - Khajiit Templar - Healer

Like, don't get me wrong guys, I'd love to play a Templar. It's the only class I don't have at least one of. But everytime I make a magicka-specced one, I just get bored super fast. I've even tried on the PTS a max-level one, and tried not using jabs, but the skills are just boring. Maybe, if I had a good build for it or soething.

All classes at this point have lost 70% of their original flavour.

I recall playing and doing trials with main tank NBs and templars. I recall doing trials tanked and healed by sorcs.

Now, some classes have been basically dumbified (sorcs = double bar everything, 4 buttons and you are done), others have lost diversity, all lost versatility and now look the same, just with different skill icons.

I've tried multiple times, but cannot get used to DK or Templar. I still have a couple Magplars but the DKs and Stamplar were so dull I never got far.

My main's a Magsorc, and newbie's a Stamsorc, which are just fun - destroy everything. Rotations can be challenging enough to be fun, but not so hard I can't do it while drinking.

I originally played, and prefer, Nightblades, but I don't like the current gameplay. It's a class that really needs hybrid builds to work like a TES single-player spellsword or nightblade.

Wardens - stam, mag, and hybrid - are great fun, all the skill choices are interesting, though it'd be nice to have another ranged instant alternative to bird spam, and I'd pay a fistful of crowns to have a different ultimate animal, like senche or giant serpents.

Templar just seems to be healing or stabbing with beams, and my Magsorc can grab a stick and be a good-enough healer.

DK is so much about buffing and tanking, and I've never liked tanking in any MMO.
