Razer Chroma Support - Please Remove It.

Whilst we were happy that integrated Razer Chroma support was added in Homestead.. I think it's fair to say the honeymoon period is well and truly over.

It's broken, buggy and needs to go.

Since Homestead, PTT functionality in both Discord and TS3 has been non-functional. For some reason the ESO client hijacks priority over applications and fails to recognise PTT hotkeys no matter what they are set to. If I leave it on Voice Activated talk it works fine. I have PTT usually mapped to M5 (F6 mapped macro). It just will not recognise it if ESO is the current foreground app.

And yes I've tried demoting CPU priority to ESO and elevating the TS3/Discord props. No difference. Removed any other potential overlay conflicts (Overwolf).

This isn't an issue in other games. PTT works fine if I'm in D3, SWTOR etc). Just not ESO.. It's stopped working as of 2.7.

Now this patch I'm getting even more dramas, twice last night my WSAD keys have completely locked up in PvP leaving me immobile and having to relog to fix. I'm not sure if something else has changed or what but its only happened this week post Dbones.

Weirdly enough if I hit enter, I can still type in chat using those keys no problem. ESC out and movement is still stuck.

Yet if I fire up anything else (SWTOR, Doom), zero lockup problems. Also, ESO keeps hijacking the color themes for my Chromakeys, despite me having an overriding profile with my own preset colours.

Can we just remove it already.. Things were far better before Homestead.

I’m trying to find the comment they made, I recall thinking the support they offer was odd but it may help you if I can find it so you understand what is and isn’t intended.

I recall it isn’t like the games you listed intentionally.

I actually don't mind if there's zero support for it, what I mind is how a broken feature remains in the game that they aren't supporting, when it was working fine before they added said broken feature. Honestly I don't need all that Chroma-***, I just need ESO to not override the basic PTT functions we always had before.

Leaving voice activation on can be dangerous at times.. I.e. When yelling at the kids in background.

All they need to do is strip the razer stuff from the LUA and update their Libs and it'll be sweet.

It seems there is half....support
Kinda a bad theme around here. Hate to be pessimistic but it looks like it’s another poor implementation by th developers.

Last post I see anywhere about it...more of a complaint tho Bethesda based...
