If only i could login and play. Since this patch this game has become far more buggy and far more unstable. Its starting to really irritate me now and sucking all the enjoyment out of it for me. When it gets more annoying then enjoyable, i go play something else and my wallet follows.

Playing ESO is becoming more work and stress than my job and i run a small company.

I don't approve of a specific element of the game's direction : the switch to per-use costs for cosmetics. They've quite sabotaged the outfit system by monetizing it in a way unlike all the other cosmetic systems and we will no doubt see more degradation of the existing model in the future.

Oversaturation of reskinned mounts and monetized pointless fluff on the one hand. Shallow, buggy, neglected game content on the other.

The standard fare for a non-p2p mmo. Why anyone would be pleased by this outcome is beyond me.

What is dragonbones? I have not been able to play because of some steam issue.

    this.

my dislike is mainly with implementation of certain systems and how much they seem to push players as much as possible towards crown store.

This is why I hate microtransactions (not that there is anything "micro" about ZoS prices). The fun or content of the game takes a back seat to profit first. The game is not designed for fun, but designed for profit. To funnel people to the crown store.

What makes it worse is when a subscription model is offered (I sub) and those people still have to deal with the design of the game funneling people to the crown store.

An example would be the recent outfit costs. Why make oufits and dying have a cost, esp an expensive one? So that people will contemplate not spending their hard earned gold and instead purchase an outfit token. A subscriber should not have to deal with this. Our monetary commitment should be met with the 15 dollar sub. I mean it works for wow, why would this game be any different, ESP when the team that makes ESO is SIGNIFICANTLY smaller than the team that works on wow.

These practices become a huge turn off. NO ONE likes to be nickel and dimed all the time. Every time I am asked to spend more money for a feature or cosmetic that again should be met with the sub model, I am turned off from this game.

All that being said. What does it even matter. I can not even log into the game right now due to some issue that has plagued the steam/ESO playerbase since 5:00 central time yesterday. I am getting the nagging feeling that I am literally throwing money away.

I like where the game itself is going but not where the marketing team is taking it.

Really happy with the changes made in Dragon Bones, but the amount of bugs that came with it is unacceptable. They really need a patch where they focus primarily on some of the bugs that have been plaguing the game for years.

IMO, the outfit system in its default state is crippled because of the combination of the single slot provided and the very high gold cost.

It is clear to me that the gold price is higher than it would be for purely gameplay related considerations to drive slot sales. After spending 20k on a recent outfit, I am hesitant to change it. After one outfit per character, the system is essentially dead to me.

I would have preferred it if the outfit system was included with and paid for by the next chapter and included, at minimum, 5 slots per character.

I'm not losing sleep over the outfit system because I don't play ESO for cosmetic purposes. However, I feel very bad for everyone I know who is into Outfits and can't come close to enjoying the system to the greatest degree possible. My main concern is the direction of the game. How will ZOS next push monetization boundaries? Will there be spellcrafting slots and tokens?

ZOS has gradually slipped into money grab territory. Instead of looking for ways to increase revenue per customer, they should instead focus on improving value and grow revenue through growth. They should build good will among their current group of motivated customers and use them as a springboard while they can.

I like the game at its core. Nothing quite scratches the itch like it does. Its Elder scrolls and I like that, also they did such a good job on CWC DLC. But make no mistake this hypermonetization>content/balance/fixes is way too *** obvious. Just look at the shell that was morrowind.

Crownstore exploit. Fixed within hours. Bugs and server problems, lel wait over half a day/multiple patches.
