"The red pill and its opposite, the blue pill, are a popular cultural meme, a metaphor representing the choice between:

Knowledge, freedom, uncertainty and the brutal truths of reality (red pill)
Security, happiness, beauty, and the blissful ignorance of illusion (blue pill)"

Outfits are great, new dungeons are buggy as Hell, but fun. The weapon swapping bugs, insane Cyro lag and now Steam issues are clearly not so great.

The amount of game critical bugs that get ignored and pushed live is ridiculous for a company that develops a AAA MMO.

I'm generally content about where the game is going, but some things could have been done better, for example doing a bit more QC before releasing patches on live, and actually taking into account bug reports and other suggestions from people testing on PTS.

I love the new stuff. Since I started playing ESO, two of my biggest wants have been addressed: trait changes and outfitting.

I am still amazed that they manage to release new content as often as they do.

That all said, I don't understand how some major bugs make it to release even when they are identified and documented in testing. I'm not (thank God) a computer programmer so I don't the details behind testing, version control, etc. but releasing the home storage containers when there is a known, catastrophic bug in them with no warning to players is simply bad business.

Directionally, ESO is on the right path. Lots of new stuff, player base is strong, gameplay is fun, and I have yet to log in and think "I have nothing to do."

I dont need something extra to complain about. The Dungeon- No joke there. I do vets on my tank and that knew dungeon whooped my tank's arse even on normal. Havent tried anything else in that regard. Clothing... AWESOME. Fashion Scrolls has finally arrived and I dont have to look like everyone else giving the enemy in PvP the idea of what gear sets Im running.

Long launcher, login, zoning... bad... very bad. Having to pay to color Imperial and Morag... bad... very bad. Outside of those 2 things... DLC is fine. And Im 100% sure the whole slow down thing will be fixed within a week. Point out that the coloring of the Imperial and Morag skins we paid for should remain free and Im sure that will change as well(altho not 100% sure).

Putting up a pole(yes P O L E meaing stick up your behind) like this when those are the only issues with the DLC... BAD.... VERY VERY BAD. 99% of the complaints about the DLC that I have seen so far is panic over people not finding what they're looking for like hide helmet with a costume on or the imperial and morag skins in the outfit station and the realization that it's free AND a bonus because you get to keep the original weapon/armor as well. So please... quit being so knee jerk and ask questions instead of jumping on the "THIS SUCKS" bandwagon... it's really getting annoying explaining all of the things you didnt take the time to look for or ask for help finding.

I really like the game as well. There QA needs some serious work though. If ZOS doesn't fix some serious issues like login, loading screens, Cyrodil lag, storage, etc then I can see their player numbers start to shrink in a big way.

I like the idea of costumes, but too expensive. Too much focus on learning every motif; crafters are now screwed over.

I don't really group much, since ... oh Clockwork city I get bumped every 2-30 min, minimum. I'm not reliable any more enough to play in a long/dungeon/group.

Too much focus on money/crown store, and too many things released with poor quality. I'm still calling the wolf atronach "Bessie the Hell Cow"
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
      ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

To me the direction since Morrowind is best described as: Decreasing quality and dumbing down the game to advertise do a broader audience and push more sales.

As a Endgame PvE player I basically can't play. There is no point in raiding right now, as the game is so buged that you won't be able to get good runs, testing or even just fun out of it. At the moment I'm only playing, or at least being online, due to responsibilities in my guild and to talk to my friends.

Then dont buy anything. There isnt anything you're talking about that is game critical. It's all optional. This is Fashion Scrolls and Fashion is expensive. Even if the fashion is ridiculous.

The bugs, while annoying, are inevitable when you're working with coding and/or software development. So I'm not holding that against them at all. It happens. Will always happen. Roll with the punches.

But, I still enjoy the game vastly overall.

Well, the direction of development is overall ok, even the change of their business model is not after my liking. I expected to get more region DLCs with my ESO+ membership, instead those are now chapters to be paid extra. I would as well have preferred to not have to pay gold for using the outfit system as a subscriber. Otherwise, even I still love the game itself, I don't approve the increasing amount of blatant cash grab attempts with certain features - like the outfit system.

I've been sullen since Morrowind and that isn't likely to change. I want my sustain back so I can safely have some build options. I want my major mending back so I can actually healtank most of the content. I want difference in playstyle that is more than 'what ability's to spam' and minor differences.

I would like for tanks to be more than block machines. I would like for healers to be more than heal machines. I would like for DPS to be more than damage machines. I would like mechanics or combo's based on class and roll, something, anything to add flavor to a otherwise paint by the numbers build system where if tank, you build block and get into a ryth. If healer, you build like everyone else. If DPS, you build like everyone else, and practice maximizing dot uptime.
