Maintenance for the week of December 15:

· [COMPLETE] Xbox: NA and EU megaservers for maintenance – December 15, 4:00AM EST (9:00 UTC) - 12:00PM EST (17:00 UTC)
· [COMPLETE] PlayStation®: NA and EU megaservers for maintenance – December 15, 4:00AM EST (9:00 UTC) - 12:00PM EST (17:00 UTC)
Also having problems. Restarted, repaired, and switched servers, but still cannot log into the NA server. I can log into the EU server, but get the same error as everyone else upon logging into the NA server. I submitted a ticket. @ZOS_GinaBruno
I have the same problem, but I managed to use the eso64.exe work around. My ESO+ isn't working though, and I don't know if that's because it's supposed to renew today or because the subscription is through Steam.

Every time someone posts about that workaround, I give it another go. Still a no go for me. I wonder what is different about our accounts that would cause that.
From what I gather, it's a steam issue and eso32 issue (multiple things going on). Install from ESO account and log in on that. I uninstalled, reinstalled, updated computer, minion, etc., and stopped playing through Steam client.
Same problem however I'm non-Steam. It is odd that the error message (the same others get) even mentions Steam. It's the first time the game has ever mentioned Steam to me in any capacity so that makes it, to me, suspect #1.
Keep redownloading the game (I read in another thread that that's what "restart your client" means). What's "repair"? I see other people saying "restarted, repaired ..." ect, so it's obviously a separate thing, and would like to try it. I've repaired programs before in windows control panel (programs and features > uninstall a program) but there's no option to repair elder scrolls, only to uninstall it. Is there a different thing you can do to repair it?
Despite the orange message at the top of this page, it still not working.
I tried restart client and computer.
Note that I can access with other chars (I tried 2) but I just can't access with my MAIN char, the one I use 90% you know...
It says "ERROR : an error has occurred. Please wait a few minutes and try again."
Occasionally the error is the "booted from server" and "timeout".
This is happening since I try first at 1pm.
If in doubt, you can always uninstall and reinstall ESO and Steam. Updates and other things screw them up sometimes. Also, make sure your PC is updated. Restarting doesn't always work. It just clears the cache and that's only if it's a cold boot. You seem to be taking more time on this forum than it would take to uninstall and reinstall.
hello again,
today I'm still suffering login problem, but this time on another char.
Investigating I found a file called interface.log where I may found clues on the problem.
Those are the final lines before the login error :

I was playing and it was flawless, until it wasn't. It logged me out and hasn't let me back on since.
I have tried restarting ESO, as well as steam. I reset my internet, renewed my IP, repaired the game, and restarted my computer multiple times.
The crash report said it was Fatal Error 13.
I'm hoping it'll work on my laptop, but I want to use my desktop. I built this thing just for ESO.
