Cant login into the game (Steam version)

Hello! As the title says I just cant login into the game. I tried login without steam but it wont let me. I tried to restart everything - the same error. And not only me, my friend cannot login either

yep, I am a Steam user too, was playing up to about an hour ago when I logged off for dinner. Now can't log back on. Same message.

I'm on Steam and I can't log in right now either. Seems that many Steam players are getting the same issue.

Having the same problem. Logged off for supper, 30 minutes later tried to log back in and it wont let me.

You can bypass logging in through Steam by using the eso64.exe file.

Yeah, you need to go to the dir that you downloaded eso to>Zenimax Online>The Elder Scrolls Online>game>client>eso64.exe. You cant login through steam, you need to use your username and password.

I'll just throw my hat into this ring too.
I've tried to launch via steam, the eso.exe, eso64.exe, Bethesda.net_launcher.exe, and zossteamstater.exe (I figured that one wouldn't work, but why not try it).

It's either timing out or saying my credentials may be incorrect or my account inactive. There was another error an hour ago, but I haven't seen it in a while.

Also a steam user, and also having issues.

And the above fix doesn't work for me. It just tells me to relaunch the client through steam.

At the main login screen I get:

"An unexpected internal error has occurred.
Please contact customer service at
help.elderscrollsonline.com"

The above fix didn't work for me either. We just need to accept the fact that we can't play this evening and wait for the devs to fix the issue. These guys are good. It shouldn't take more than a day to fix it.

Yup - internal error when trying to log into NA server. EU server seems to work fine.

I just tried this and I'm able to log into Eu server as well but not NA.

Reporting back that while they've said the issue is resolved, it's still happening to me. I've restarted Steam and my computer multiple times now to no avail.

Got out of bed when I saw the yellow alert, didn’t work, repaired, still doesn’t work. Gonna miss my crafting dailies on my master crafters I tried to finish 5 hours ago.

Some people are still having this bug. It is not 'resolved' like zos is claiming.

Hours later I'm reporting back here for the third time to confirm I have not been able to log in yet. @ZOS_GinaBruno Just pinging to let you know many people including IRL friends/guildies of mine still are unable to get past the title screen.

European server is fine. I logged just now without any problem and I see a lot of guild mates online.

I guess NA is only affected.

I should get ESO Plus credit for time lost on my dailys, and not being able to use the bank or craft bag because I'm now encumbered...this really sucks, and game breaking

Another for whom the issue is not resolved. I haven't been able to log on all day.

(I use Steam. I just tried the eso64.exe method and the same happened for me as others who tried it, above.)

And it's just a poke in the eye to read a banner saying "the issue is resolved" when you're locked out, along with many others. >:/

Just tried to log in to NA server. The issue has NOT been fixed. To confirm, I have:

-Restarted client
-Restarted Steam
-Restarted computer

I have tried launching via:

-Steam
-eso64.exe
-eso.exe
-Bethesda.net_launcher.exe
-zossteamstarter.exe

Please fix!!!
