Revisit Buff Tracker On Console

I'm glad they implemented it, but it doesn't work well as is... to the point that i don't even have them on anymore.

All they needed to do was put a big number on the icon of the skill ON your bar and have it count down to zero. Instead, we get this mess of small buff icons that clutter your screen with even smaller numbers on them. Even if you turn off the permanent and long timer buffs... its still too many buffs to watch.

We just need to know how many seconds are left on each skill we use. We DONT need to know the 38 minor/major buffs that are also applied in the process of using those skills.
No one cares how much time is left on their major expedition when it pops on from the 5pc VO set after killing a trash mob.

I like the buff bar. Pretty customizable in terms of what you want to see on there, and knowing when my food is about to run out? Priceless.

I'd prefer they keep it as is but the difference would be that we would flag skills/buffs that we wanted to keep track of. The problem with having timers on our skill bar is we can't track skills on the bar we aren't on.

I could live with that option also. Let us choose exactly which skills to watch.

I would have hoped that zos would make it more like that:

But i am on pc anyways so i have addons but it would be nice if they would include some really good addons in the base game.

    I get what you’re saying....

From another point of view.... the actual problem is this game was initially more like an action game and little by little they made changes to try and make it more like an MMO call n response combat.

So what that means is the duff tracker, debuff trackers seem to populate off the games programming rather than an intuitive manner that would relate to any buff/debuff trackers.

100% ideal right there... back bar showing skills/timers above the front bar skills/timers

Hey zos... pay the person/group that made this addon... buy the rights if need be... implement this option. I'm sure you can afford it with all the crown crate sales.

Frankly... They should try to implement a Srendarr-like interface on consoles.

Meaning that you have several "windows" to which you can assign buff groups.

You also have Blacklist and Whitelists. Blacklists allow you to stop any buff or debuff from showing, and Whitelists put the buffs or debuffs you want to see, aside from all the other ones.

It also allows you to choose the way the buffs are listed, for example depending on the casting order, instead of the remaining duration.

The interface itself would be quite tricky to implement, but it definitely is possible and it would help console players greatly. Because right now, what they have is a total mess of buffs that aren't even properly sorted.

Well that would totally work for me, I didn't think about just showing both bars at once. Either way the base game trackers definitely need some love.

Please add more function to the trackers for us the console users. I will add more details if ZOS is really serious about it.
