x2 sustain set, doing it wrong?

So in no-CP it's starting to feel like I'm not crazy for considering x2 sustain sets, defiantly as stamblade (although I can go full damage but without CP into magic it can be tough to make a decent getaway, although recent fixed Shade has helped a lot) and also with magblade (although HA can help a lot it can make you predictable with the telegraphed charge up and resto helps a lot of course).

But even with those disclaimers I'm finding I'm still considering x2 sustain sets, I'm currently running a stamblade with Shakle, Bone Pirate and Selene. Am I doing it wrong, because it feels wrong but then the results seem to be going fairly well? I'll generally find my own way most of the time but it's always good to see how others feel and save myself sometime.

Personally think one sustain set is enough.

You can always switch enchants, or poisons / recovery enchants on weapons. Potions, heavy attacks in the rotation.

You lose Crit and Pen etc in No-CP as no stars and smaller pool so I think keeping those up helps.

It's personal preference tho I think

Look at it this way, if you´re out of resources you´re more or less done for it. I personally don´t play a lot of no-CP, but from what I can tell, sustain = damage + survivability in no-CP. Did some small digging and from what I can tell you´re setup is a good one for stamblade :)

Once I get the materials to craft some gear for my stamblade I´m planning on going (note that I´m no expert at stamblade, far from it)
    Shackle (5 body)
    Bonepirate (3 Jewels + 2 body)
    Asylum/maelstrom 2hander frontbar
    Master bow backbar

Then it´s just to experiment with what kind of glyphs you want on your jewels. Weapon-damage, costreduction glyphs or recovery glyphs are the ones you´ll have to play around with. Find what suits your playstyle the best :)

Then you can tweak it even more by using certain poisons on your weapons, and same thing here, experiment until you find what you´re comfortable with :)

Actually I think one of my main problems with my Stamblade is that I don't have a masters bow so I tend to run dw/2h and use selene. I think the masters bow helps make up some extra damage when running more sustain in no CP and although they feel like sustain sets, BP and Shakle give a good sized stam pool which helps make up for lower weapon damage.

For no CP stamblades, Shadow Walker is a very good and under utilized set.

That's such a strong setup for medium stamblade it's literally insane. The damage and sustain you get are crazy. My buddy has been running it when he isn't playing heavy and he's killing it with it. I recommend shackle/bone/AS+master weapons to anyone looking for a strong rollerblade build.

    No monster set?

What would you use as a monster set though? Blood spawn or troll king are really the only viable ones and one is overkill healing and the other is just not needed cause their ult is cheap enough.

But I mean with a different setup it could work juuust fine, but I feel like shackle is needed for the perma cloak ability and bone for both damage and stam sustain. Not to mention the crazy master bow damage bonus.

As far as sustain goes, it's really up to you to figure out what you feel comfortable playing with.

A good suggestion if you need magicka and stam sustain is to run Jewels of Misrule as your food. It's going to give you a nice big chunk of both recoveries along with health. You do miss out on the max resources, but that is less of an issue in non cp.

I get away with 1570 recovery on my stam sorc pretty easily, but that's because I heavy attack weave and make use of Dark Deal.
So in the end it is down to you. If you need 2k stam recovery to feel good, then you run 2k stam recovery.
