Outfitting: Unable to hide costumes hood? Help pls?

Before the patch, my crafter wore the Breton Hero costume but with the hood hidden. While i figured out how to "hide helm" on his armour, there's no similar option to do this on the custume meaning his magnificent ginger beard and afro are hidden!

✭I have a costume on and able to hide the helm.
Bring up collections and go to hats..first choice should be to "hide helm".
That worked for me.5 -

Some of my favorite fashions were old disguises--it was my only way to hide ugly vampire face, getting to see the face I originally designed.
Now if they include a hood or hat of some kind, it is shown and there is no way to hide it. I really hate when they take things we've had for years.

Ture. Although the system is still new and theres a few little issues with it - hopefully they can get them sorted out. I don't like having to visit the outfitting station just to hide a helmet. yet hiding a costume helm requires opening a completely different tab (collectibles then hats). It would be nice to have the outfitting menu to have this funtion and more importantly allow to access these features WITHOUT having to visit the station - maybe they could let us open the outfitting UI away from the station with regards to hiding helms. Or add them as an option in the collectibles.
Or maybe someone on PC could redesign the entire UI system as an addon and save us from the horrible clunky mess
