vMA never drops set rings

I've been farming veteran Maelstrom Arena for a while (for a week with multiple runs daily), and I have never seen a set ring drop, even though I got multiple necklaces. To make sure that I wasn't just unlucky, I did research, and it seems that since the One Tamriel update vMA indeed does not drop rings any more.
