Like most efforts in my life this topic is brought up much too late to be a part of the coming update tomorrow, buuuuuuuuuuuuuuut, hey! could always come in a hotfix, so might as well bring it up as food for thought.
I was wanting to talk about combining Crown Store or IG reward costumes with the outfit system. As most of you, or at least some of you (I think), probably already know, a lot of the costumes have unique armor pieces. The Orsinium costumes have those neat burr masks, there are a plethora of hats and stuff in the game, the chef costume has that neat apron and chef's hat, and (my personal favorite), the treasure hunter costume has the rock-climbing gear, pickaxe and spade.
The idea I had, would be for players to be able to put on a costume, much like how you can put on unique armor pieces and show those while wearing a saved outfit in the current game, and then simply show the original piece like that, so that the piece of the costume you want to be a part of your outfit is on display, while the rest of it is hidden away with the outfit system. For example, in the current system one could wear a Velidreth arm cop, choose to not hide that with another piece in the outfit system, and that way show off the Velidreth piece along with the rest of the costume.
Does that make sense? I dunno, I'm terrible at explaining ideas.
