I say no. The Elder Scrolls is a way of life for me. As cool as the idea sounds, having an ES animated series, I fear it would be a let down.

I say this based on my opinion that movies based on video games do not seem to do so well, and are usually a let down for me. If The Elder Scrolls turned to branching out to an animated series, it would have to be absolutely perfect with any mistakes.

This is my personal preference, though. It could work, it could not. But I say it shouldn't be made into an animated series. I like playing the games.

Only if the heroes don't follow the blandest sterotype of all in fantasy genre. The oh look im a wimp by generic race standards aka im a whiny nord milk drinker aspiring for some bs dream btw im a nord because im about as generic human as i can get and skyrim player will be oh cool its a nord... rather than use the world to the fullest it'll be a whole season of goblins fighting because lazy writing... now insert jerky elf female character you wanna ship but it never happens and a random khajiit thief that frenemy's you the entire season.

I would dig a series, but NOT anime style. Never liked anime. Maybe done with CGI would be cool, it is a computer game after all. As far as how long it should run... who says it should stop?

The problem would be that the lore is complicated and it probably wouldn't have much of a mainstream following.

Bcz i would rather they did a movie.

That castlevania mini series was really well done but that game had a much smaller world and a more consistent timeline. With all the different timelines, lands and different dimensions in elder scrolls i couldnt imagine a 20 something minute weekly program going anywhere.

Star trek has their own version of the khajiit. And castlevania was a brilliant anime. So, yeah, I'd love to see an Elder Scrolls anime, maybe during the time of the great war. Or when the mages guild fight the worm cult.
