Despite some of the issues the game has, I enjoy it and play daily.

I think they're seriously TRYING to improve the game, but it's not as easy as arm-chair quarterbacks like to believe it is. I'm just glad we will get to create our own outfits and FINALLY be able to change our weapon colors... took them long enough!!

As for combat... I really wish they could figure out how to properly make changes to skills without damaging them in the process... like 'fixing' Templar's Sweeps while also creating a problem with it being effected by certain CP placement compared to Live.

Best modern day MMORPG currently out there.

Sure some tweaks are needed here and there, but this game is a lot of fun and has a great community. 'Nuff said.

i think you're going to get a lot more approves than disapproves because most people who disapprove of the game as a whole probably won't be on its forums anymore

Considering that the main issue I have with ESO is that there are too many things to do and not enough time in the day for me to do them all, I'd say I approve.

As someone said earlier, it is okay to disapprove of something and keep playing. I have always though ESO could be a great game, but right now I think it is overshadowed by its problems.
Dont be narrow in thinking you must quit and delete if you disapprove.

I wish I could remember which MMO did log-in polls. I always thought it a sensible way to gather data. No peer pressure, takes but moments and reaches literally everyone.

I will start off with the positives.

The actual combat is quick and reactive.

Lush worlds with unique looking dungeons

Dolmens, sewers and unique ovetland bosses.

Soo much potential

Why i dissaprove is because;

the complete lack of balance. Overpowered skills locked behind class walls. The most offensive classes have the best recovery passives and escapability skills.

Dissparity between racials passives.

A crafting system that was poorly thought out.

Pve quests that all blend together.

The stamina/magicka split that dilluted classes and playstyles

A very stale pvp system that only merits poor sportmanship

A stale dungeon system. All dungeons are pretty straight foward. Keep moving foward till you meet a boss.

My vote is withheld for the moment until we get a better understanding of how ZOS utilizes player feedback. It's very frustrating when they say they're listening because that statement is vague. We aren't able to discern how much feedback they listen to, and what feedback they value.

Wrobel mentioned that a player feedback document exists, but they haven't shared it yet.

Don't get me wrong, I still play the game. But I had to choose disapprove because the *overall* direction of the game seems to be having players at max level either playing dress-up like barbie dolls (outfits/home decor) or no-lifing it with very little in between.

Engaging content, regular updates that both add content and improve the base game, and some pretty neat ideas.

Sure, some stuff needs work...... but on balance, this is a damn good way to waste my time. And when they get it right (e.g. the new outfit system), it’s GREAT!

When I do quit ESO, it won't be from boredom, that's for sure. Every night I log in, I have far more things I want to do in-game than I have time to do it. Just one of my guilds has nightly events, nightly trials, and nightly PVP...all well organized. And when I'm on during off hours, I have a laundry list of solo stuff I want to do.

What will probably make me eventually quit is RNG frustration. 90 keys to pull the shoulders I want (didn't even care about the trait...just medium!). 400+ fish without a Perfect Roe. 8MM+ gold worth of raws farmed without an Aetherial Dust. 100+ trials without a dagger (for any of the 12 people, not just me). 2000+ Vvardenfell chests without a BA motif.

Logically, I know I don't NEED any of that stuff so it shouldn't be remotely enough to make me stop playing. But eventually, frustration will exceed logic and I'll be done.

Until then...PLENTY to do!

Although the Morrowind's combat changes made the game feel terrible, I like that the developers are showing clear transparency and are hearing our opinions loud and clear. The recent combat changes are mostly going in the right direction!

I wasnt hoping to get any specific result, if you mean that I wanted the votes to swing in either direction. In a more general sense, the poll was motivated as information gathering. I figured people would vote, and it would be seen, both by players and ZOS. It is know that they do frequent their own forums... in their own words they try to read every post.

I tried to be as unbiased as possible in the way I presented the question. I did cast a vote, but as a player my vote counts as well.

This poll is worthy of a professional poster. I'd love to see how it would be if it was a Poor to excellent scale. Or even an graded ABCDF scale.

Also confirmation bias. I mean it's interesting that 22% of the people that play this game don't approve of it. I wish we had the ability to have more detailed polls.

Morrowind was when my time on ESO ended. I still check the updates on the forum sometimes to see if they'll ever do like a big overhaul but yea I'm not actually playing the game anymore.

When I used to play I would always tell friends to get this game. Two of my friends recently asked me about it whether I still played and if they should get it and I told them no. At this point it's not worth it.
