I know there are various reasons but I don't want to water down the results of the poll with caveats. Feel free to elaborate if you want, but I would like to see how people feel about the game and its direction overall. Are we happy, or unhappy? Do we approve or disapprove.

thanks to morrowind patch I just dropped with pve and with game..sometimes Im logging to this but only to do craft dailys and sometimes going to pvp as pve have died for me with this system

Tons of people apparently play this game in the hope that, after 4 years, it will suddenly become a different game. This baffles me.

It seems like you don't understand "tons of people." Asking for server performance (lag) improvements is hardly asking for a different game. What's an example of someone asking for a different game?

I mostly run into the ones who want Cyrodiil to be entirely revamped to fit their vision of PVP (whatever that is), people who want the whole CP system scrapped, and people who want an AOE taunt added to the game without understanding the likely consequences of that. Oh, and people who want PVP in the justice system, like that didn't get scrapped for good reason.

I'm sure other people can share their examples of people who want a different game.

In my experience the amount of people asking for those things is by far the minority; maybe a sole, easily ignored forum post every few weeks. Def less than number of vamp whiners or lag complaints. And cyro revamp? Haven't even heard that one.
Nevermind that those things are hardly requests for a "different game."

Within the first month, I'd say I'd have rated it an 8.

Now, 4 months later, I'd rate it a 6.5. Likely I'd bump that to a 7 with the outfit and housing storage update.

A few things really rub me the wrong way but in the end, I approve and enjoy the game.

Okay. Either define your goalposts for "requesting a different game" or quit moving them.

Everything I listed, I've seen come up repeatedly on a monthly basis since September. And I'm 90% certain that September wasn't the first time they came up.

The new DLCs are a bit pricey perhaps but I like all of the game. Best MMO, great content, great immersion, innovative mechanics, DEEP gameplay, housing system. This game has it all. Perhaps some minor tweaks could be put in place, like improving the role for crafters, but ZoS is slowly moving that way (master writs etc.).

I would love to see Wrothgar quality of DLCs again as that was a masterpiece

I love the game but I disapprove of where it's headed. Crown items and loot boxes becoming more of the focus. A lot of bad nerfs lately.

It's ok to disapprove of the direction yet still stick around.

Sure the game has issues, but I still log in most days and enjoy playing.

I'm cautious of the loot boxes though.

I still am really satisfied with the game and always look forward to playing the new DLC's and chapters, for the story content and the dungeons and such - or atleast, all that I'm able to handle as of yet.

I don't play every day, and often take breaks from weeks to months, and then go back in full force every day for a month or two. Even during my breaks though, it's not out of dissatisfaction - I just know that burning myself out makes it no longer fun for me, and I like playing other games too.
