If you add them to your ignore list, does that mean Group Finder won't pair you with them?
No, sadly it does not. It simply means you will no see their zone chat or be able to whisper them.

You can still get auto-grouped with them and can still see their group chat.

At a minimum, the game should provide a pop-up if you should happen to get grouped with someone on your ignore list, or just automatically requeue you.

Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

    Earn it.

IRL'ing for a while for assorted reasons, in forum, and in game.
I am neither warm, nor fuzzy...

To be fair, the assumption is that the game's population will be large enough that you'll never encounter them again randomly in the wild. Which, for the most part is fairly sound. Unless you're both part of that small segment of the community who just stand there and spam the group finder constantly, you'll probably never see them again... probably.

I always seem to get matched with lots of the same players via group finder. I end up just adding them as friends since we always seem to end up in the same group anyways. One day I was doing some PUGs in spurts, and ended up in a group with the same tank like 4 or 5 random times throughout my play session that day.

I got randomly Queued with someone I used to be friends with who quit playing for a good 6 months and had since been unfriended... Then we became friends again. Never say never! Sometimes I block the really rude, obnoxious people after a run in hopes I never have to listen to them run their mouths again but I suppose that doesn't work for random grouping...

I'd say that's weird, until I remember how sporadic my use of the group finder really is. I do most of my dungeon and trial runs via my guilds.

Gotta share my latest experience. I needed for pledge Crypt of Hearts II so I used a guild chat. One of the guildmates messaged tha he will. Cool. So we created a group and started the dungeon. It was on VET which I didn't realize until the last boss lol.

I simply kept dying.....after maybe six or seven deaths I group messaged "guys If u have someone better replace me"
Response? "Don't worry, we'll kill him"
BTW we didn' t manage to kill him after 40mins-ish and we decided to disband the group.

There are good people to play with, just sometimes u run into someone without brain.
