No, sadly it does not. It simply means you will no see their zone chat or be able to whisper them.If you add them to your ignore list, does that mean Group Finder won't pair you with them?

You can still get auto-grouped with them and can still see their group chat.
At a minimum, the game should provide a pop-up if you should happen to get grouped with someone on your ignore list, or just automatically requeue you.

I always seem to get matched with lots of the same players via group finder. I end up just adding them as friends since we always seem to end up in the same group anyways. One day I was doing some PUGs in spurts, and ended up in a group with the same tank like 4 or 5 random times throughout my play session that day.
