What would you do if you actually had more item slots?

For me, my sensible dream is to add fishes and other water decor while also polishing general outside ecosystem. This means few more combat doing funny things and removing ugly trees. ( I don't ...I hate Palm trees)

I would add more Mages Guild related items and more books. 279/200 items is not allowing to add a thing : )

I want to have a library full of books and clutter. :)
And a pretty garden with flowers and glowing crystals.
And with all that, I still want to have enough slots to decorate the water area of my Daggerfall manor. I used to have a spa here but had to remove it due to slaughterfish :# But I still dont want that place to be empty... I guess I could build a cave with those new cave rocks and whatnot.
I'd say 2,5-3k slots would be optimal for manors.

more individual books to the library. more food to the kitchen. more minor individual details, like boxes, trinkets, etc to the bedrooms, more flowers, I can keep going. just more detail in general. right now I feel like I have to create an equivalent of concept art, vs actual detailed final product.

I would do more with my outside areas. For instance, right now, Amaya Lake Lodge is nearly full and I haven't even done anything with the exterior (except for adding a couple of luxury vendor statues and the Precursor and a couple of plants I looted from harvest nodes). I'd love to do a garden, but I don't have any slots left. I even removed all but two of the rocks/boulders (freed up about 25 slots!), but that's left the outside a little more bare and I would like to fill it in with beautiful garden areas.

I got pretty detailed in the kitchen, but it still could use some more dishware/food. I'd love to add real books on a bookshelf, but they take up way too many slots. The storehouse is my workshop, with all the crafting stations and complementing crafting clutter. There are still some items I'd love to add to that.

If light sources lit up a larger area, I could remove some of the lighting I have in there.

Basically, I don't want to have to decide on detail vs. sparsely furnishing everywhere. I don't want to have to choose between the interior/exterior. I don't own any of the manors, but I can imagine if I did, I'd have to wall off certain rooms.

I have ESO+ and don't have enough slots. Even Velothi Reverie and Ald Velothi Harbor House (both medium homes) got filled up pretty quickly and neither have that much of an exterior space. I never thought I'd have trouble with the caps on the medium homes, but when I actually started completing them by adding in all the detail I wanted that I hadn't gotten around to yet, the slots filled up quickly! I can't imagine anyone without ESO+ doing any kind of real decorating.

Same here... I dont even understand why they even bothered with adding all those book collections if you cant use them due to slot restrictions.

I'd like to add some finishing touches - aquatic decorations, a statue, and a bridge. I'd also like to add the attunable stations. At the moment, with what I have placed, I'll be able to fit about 25% of the stations in my home (if I don't remove anything).

Oh, and a hot tub. I want a hot tub.

The current slot allocation allowed me to decorate the exterior spaces of my home, but once that was done I had relatively few slots left to decorate the interior areas, so except for 2 rooms, the interior of my home is mostly empty and dark.

My biggest problem is that plants and lights have eaten away a large number of my furnishing slots.

Lighting - the illumination area is small and most produce a dull yellowish light (like the illumination from a single lit match). Housing interiors are fairly dark and each room needs a significant number of lighting items in order to make it not look so gloomy. Because we have day/night cycles, the exterior areas also need a significant number of lighting items.

Plants (excluding trees) - garden areas can easily eat up a significant number of furnishing slots because as most shrubs/flowers only cover/fill very small areas.

More furnishing slots would allow me finish decorating the interior of my home. While I have enjoyed my house decorating project, I've intentionally held off buying another house until I have finished decorating the one I currently have.

Well, there's a lot of new building structures coming that look like they'll be crown store exclusive. Unfortunately, since the housing cap is so low there is no way I'll ever buy them - as there's no where for me to put them.

My main house is Stay-Moist. I can't decorate it to my taste with the 600 item limit. I have been decorating it section by section and then removing all the smaller elements to storage houses (after taking a screenshot). IF (when??) item limits are increased I would put everything back and then fully decorate the sections I haven't got to yet! My other houses are themed, but some of them could use some more clutter type items.

Sooooooo much. Any non-ESO+ increase will go into detailing, decorating stuff outside more and such. Much I can and want to do with higher numbers. Make my main homes so much nicer. Maybe even buy bigger homes then medium.

I don't have ESO+ besides the occasional month. So I have a pretty small item count as I won't go above the standard non ESO+ count even when subscribed, as that would mean that in the vast majority of time I can't even replace anything without first packing up a lot again, loosing work, nice looks, filling my bags... way to punishing to ever go for just to swap something. And just subscribing to do that... nah it's not worth that much to me for a house almost no-one sees. I hate that feeling of penalty, it drains all the fun out of decorating for me as it punishes me for wanting to change stuff when not ESO+. So I rather work within remaining restrictions and pretend ESO+ numbers don't exist. But yeah that means way insufficient numbers to make anything truly special especially for houses above medium size (So I don't buy those).
