Dwemer style, something like the above-ground ruins in Vvardenfell... and more acquirable Dwemer style furnishings.

Didn't mention in my previous post but I made a thread about a Belkarth apple orchard back when Homestead came out. Definitely want.

I'd like more houses similar to the coldharbour plot but instead on nirn. And without the excessive tiles.
(Like an outside space with no buildings, perhaps in some kind of a ravine, with high rock walls surrounding it, or by a beach or a lake with a rock wall backing it to make it secluded.)

Also being able to expand existing houses. Like a house "upgrade." I like alot of the smaller houses but it'd be cool if we could eventually get yards or just expand them.

    Maybe character-themed housing?

So for fighter types there's a valley in the mountains with a ruined tower or castle, you can go in and clear out the bandits and repair it, saving the villagers who gratefully pay you tribute in food and materials. Or a Templar could reclaim, cleanse and guard fortified monastery. You'd be able to upgrade walls and add guards etc.

For wizardly types, a tower is traditional, and no, not a mushroom tower, I'm not a keebler elf. Something like the chironasium in Wayrest, perhaps. Or a mansion - I like the look of the Fighters's Guild in Wayrest, with a library in one turret and a lab in the other, but ZOS would have to do a bunch of interior work. And wizardly built ins - you'd be able to craft a summoning circle and raise a target or dremora merchant, and a scrying basin that would show, say, sky shards in a region for 24 hours.

For sneaky types, the ability to establish a thieves guild branch or DB sanctuary in some warehouses or caves.

A houseboat/ship of some kind, completely on its own in some water.

A treehouse, where you live in the tree tops.

    A proper snowy home.

I really, really want a proper treehouse home. I currently use The Gorinir Estate as my primary residence since I love large forest areas, but I don't like how there are three pods. I'd rather it be just one large pod tbh.

I wonder why they didn't make the large bosmer house after the trees in the Vinedusk Village place in Reaper's March--where the home is a tall tree with several floors that you get between using the ladders

this style house as seen in cormount vulkwasten vinedusk and other places will most likly be the bosmer mansion. I can not wait. anyone thats seen my bosmer forest sanctuary will know how amazing id make it :3

I agree with ship houses and tree houses. Also a large lighthouse house would be sweet. More smaller houses too that can be bought with a reasonable amount of gold.

this would be amazing. a little island with its own canton. love it.

i personally want to see a ship home with a wayshrine system to dock at different ports. as well as more small homes in dlc zones.

    an orc longhouse!

I'm surprised nobody asked for the crescent Orc building (as seen in Skyrin and on Betnikh) as a small home. That makes most sense as the beginning of the Orc homeowner ladder. Surround it with a stockade, throw in a few small outbuildings for forge/crafting and add a basement down a trapdoor, and you could make a medium dwelling from it, too.

Yeah a limited time manor that cost 14k crowns and that's too big to fully decorate with the item limit. A couple small to large houses with courtyards in the DLC regions would be nice.

I would LOVE an Ayleid house! And ones like you see in Tel Branora, the small stone cottages.

I would also like to see more medium and large new homes, not just the huge manor homes. I find I like decorating them a lot more, and am more able to make them feel "lived-in."

Thanks for all the great ideas! We've passed this along to the housing team to give them some ideas for the future. :)

Please, please, please more medium houses with two or three rooms. I'd love to see one in Balmora and Orsinium, not to mention other house-less locations.

An Orc longhouse! Or village! A large home that consisted of several smaller buildings. A large home with more rooms! None of the bigger houses have enough rooms. Also I think it would be perfect to be able to have your own nook in the outlaws refuges or guilds once you finish the quest line. There are spaces available, I've seen 'em! I'd love to be able to make my own little spot at the DB sanctuary and the Thieves Den, even Mages' and Fighters' guilds.

On the outlaw refuge note i would love a underground house! maybe like the outlaws refuge but put it under a smaller city (or a big one i guess) where you enter like the outlaw refuge and make a home in the sewers or something

A Bosmer styled house like the final grove in CoA I, but with actual entrances and stairs and bridges and such. Three large shaped trees with several floors/rooms in each and arborial bridges connecting them. All surrounded by a pool, in a vale, with a waterfall and low islands.

The manor you visit in Grahtwood at the end of the Thieves guild quest, somewhat off the coast. A walled courtyard, a house with several floors and numerous rooms, in the Altmer style, and not so huge as to be imposing. Simply a lovely walled home with a spacious courtyard on the water.

    For Summerset;
I would like a standalone crystalline spire in the same architectural vein as whatever Crystal like Law is in (Im using my imagination here, hehe) With an exterior courtyard and lots of flowing water. Maybe even flowing water inside the tower...

A psijiic house, quite large, with LOTS of forested open space, where the building really is built into the landscape. Not hobbit hole like, but just visually and structurally harmonious with the woods and land surrounding it. Ideally with some kind of porch and definitely a water element, waterfall, river, stream, pool, something.

    For when pigs fly;
A proper Telvanni tower that actually has many floors, and windows, and balconies and rooftop access and less disturbingly textured/colored fungal growths, plus a variety of large root like furnishings to create interior or exterior structures that dont look tacked on.

As many have already posted, please add more apartments/small homes/medium homes, and homes in general, for gold. Adding the Coldharbour Surreal Estate for gold is great, but it's just a blank slate (and too big) - for those that like that, it's great, but I'm not one who cares to build something from scratch.

I would much rather have had one of the small homes in the Hollow City available to purchase for gold as the reward for completing the Coldharbour questline, rather than the Surreal Estate. Perhaps a house could be made available there after you "restore" the city?

I suspect that there may be some monetization issues with offering homes in DLC zones for gold because not everyone owns a particular DLC or subs regularly. That said, I'd really like to have homes in Orsinium, Abah's Landing, Kvatch/Anvil, and Clockwork City, as well as in Vvardenfell - Balmora, a hut in one of the Ashlander camps, etc.

wait, wait, I have an idea? ZOS is always wondering about how to add value to ESO+....

There's a lot of housing already ingame that inaccessible due to periodic store sales (seasonal, etc.). Make is so that ESO+ subscribers have access to expanded crown store offerings monthly, including things like previously offered housing, etc that are not currently being sold.

Pitch it to management, and kick ther chairs out from under them if they resist (I can come over and help with that ;)
it's a WIN WIN for both players (who get more value for ESO+, and we get to buy more, ZOS gets to sell more subs and crown items). Somebody do the maths here, it's a "no brainer"!

Since it's my idea, I need you to sell me that witches hut this month ;)
