I want a huge tree like Elden Root. Not as big, obviously, but still, a tree.

A houseboat/ship of some kind, completely on its own in some water.

A treehouse, where you live in the tree tops.

    A proper snowy home.

I really, really want a proper treehouse home. I currently use The Gorinir Estate as my primary residence since I love large forest areas, but I don't like how there are three pods. I'd rather it be just one large pod tbh.

I wonder why they didn't make the large bosmer house after the trees in the Vinedusk Village place in Reaper's March--where the home is a tall tree with several floors that you get between using the ladders

More Inn rooms. Especially in DLC areas, so you have somewhere to stay when you visit. I like to park my characters "at home", rather than just abandon them where I left them.

Which brings up the meta-questions. Would you prefer one big home, or lots of smaller ones? And should you be able to travel from home to wayshrine, like you can in the opposite direction?

Yes would like a few more small or medium houses in DLC zones. Or even in base game smaller towns. I would think they would make more money thay way. YES IM LUSTING AFTER the bih gramd places but I cant even begin to afford them.

Can you also tell your housing team (or other teams) to make more houses than only limited time crown store exclusives?

As already mentioned in another thread, I would love a cute snowy home either on Bleakrock Isle - village to be rebuild of course - or in the northern part of Wrothgar. A lot of snow around, a cosy interieur with a big fireplace ready to be decorated in winter mode <3

A houseboat also would be nice, but I'm hesitating about the proper location :)

A house like Pariah with large balcony, but forgotten citadel on slopes of Red Mountain. Citadel that itself says that guests not welcomed here. Where outside ash always fall and sky is always red, with panoramic view on Vvardenfell below, so you can sit on balcony with your morning tea, enjoy panorama.
Literally improved version of Ebonheart Chateau.

What I'd really like more of are small (maybe medium) homes located inside cities.
It would be so cool to live in Balmora, Kvatch, Abah's Landing, etc. The apartments in some of these cities are a bit too small (Vivec, please!), and everything else is usually so far away from the city or just ridiculously oversized. And many of these areas have unique architectural styles that aren't represented in the small house category.
I just want to become part of the world. Blend in. Immerse myself.
Alandrol Sul: He's making another Numidium?!?
Vivec: Worse, buddy. They're buying it.

    There's some noticeable gaps:

    - Shadowfen: Any house that isn't a mudball. Maybe an Ayleid ruin or Xanmeer.
    - Eastmarch: A house with a lawn, I dislike the large house where you can't even go out on the balcony. Somewhere out by Fort Amol or the western road would be good.
    - Grahtwood: A treehouse or Altmer house, just to break up the wood ball monotony. Perhaps a room at the Altmer embassy?
    - Rivenspire: A vampire-themed "castle", probably a small tower, there are several vamp nests in towers throughout the zone.

Along with that, it'd be nice to fix the rooftops and balconies to be usable and part of the instance. House of the Silent Magnifico's roof is outside the house instance, even though it's very hard to reach from outside and could be invisiwalled. Twin Arches has invisiwalls blocking off a perfectly nice flat rooftop you could build on. Strident Springs walls are just barely walkable at some edges, and then you're pushed off; if the invisiwalls were moved to the outer edges it'd allow for multiple-level building.

And please, someday do something about Mara's Kiss Closet. It's half the size of the other free inns.

I'd like to see a completely underground cave house that is just an empty chamber with maybe one crack high up in the wall to let in a little light. I'd decorate it in moss and glowing crystals and call it my crystal cave.

So many good ideas. +1 on small homes and/or apartments in DLC zones. I'd love a little rooftop apartment in Hew's Bane or something similar. The new Hew's Bane palace is gorgeous but it's just too big.

All those freestanding towers in the game - make one a home!
Ship home - yes, even if it's just an "apartment" of a couple below deck cabins.
    More small/medium homes in general.
