[Suggestion] Title Scrolls

Did you ever tried to get some title in the game? Something like Master Fisherman or Flawless Conqueror. It's not easy at all. It may take years to get such titles.
So, why not let players an opportunity to get unique title without nesessity of grinding dungeons, fishing all day or trying to kill a boss at vMA for weeks?

Title Scrolls in Crown Store would be very good alternative for players who can't or don't want to spend too much time in the game.

Since it's not a "pay2win" (I think everyone would agree that it doesn't give any advantage to players in PvP so it's not a "pay2win" at all), I think everyone would be happy if ZOS give players this scrolls. It's just like Crown Store researching scrolls. Nothing bad.

But... But why people can buy research scrolls then? Aren't they supposed to earn this traits?

Researching is literally nothing but a time gated task. It isn't work or an achievement. It takes a few seconds every few days and a couple of clicks. There is no skill requirement or even any real time requirement, at least in terms of time you are actively working on it. It's completely different from achievement based titles like Flawless Conqueror or Master Angler which take a lot skill and actual, active time respectively.

You have to actually stand there and do something. It requires some amount of actual engagement while you do it. You don't even have to be logged on for your research to progress. Again, not at all similar.

Titles are a purely cosmetic way of showing a players achievements.

Selling those same titles in the crown store cheapen those achievements.

The only titles I'd ever like to see from the crown store are 'Whale' 'Cash Cow' and 'Tried to Buy Skill'

Ay lmao you want to have titles that represent achievements/feats be purchasable? That's completely against what they stand for, it's like wanting a doctorate title in RL by just throwing money to whatever university would give it to you and not bother with the effort smh..

I know maybe ZOS can make a "P2W Title" for this upcoming April Fools and it cost's 5000 crowns

The research scrolls do not learn the traits for you they lower the research timer down. Its a convenience but it doesn't do it for you completely.

What you're asking for is a title you did not earn. Which is silly lol

And will likely massively peeve all of those who worked their asses off to get those titles and achievements so my guess is, what you're asking for will never happen.

Oh how I wish that were true. Almost done with Master Angler and it's taken me weeks of pretty dedicated fishing. All I have left is a couple of fish from Shadowfen and Cryo (I am expecting to be repeatedly murdered there and still am grumpy about having to deal with Cyro for the title.).

If you can't complete the Achievement, then you don't deserve the Title.

What in common have communism with this particular situation, could you elaborate, please? It sounds like an inappropriate comparison for me. Some sort of caricature greedy capitalist is more suitable in this situation.

Regarding OP's suggestion, I don't see why we need such feature. Personally I have no interest in more titles, I just use Master Wizard on my main ever since I got it, because it fits character. As people says already, you should earn achievements and titles somehow, otherwise they are pointless.

This will defeat the whole purpose. When I see someone with Stormproof, Forge Breaker, Thane of Falkreath, Boethia's Scythe etc. I can safely assume that he knows to play that class & build reasonably well. It's like a proof mark on a mechanical component.

It was easy to get Enemy of the People achievement back in Uncle Joe's time. The main issue is that you couldn't enjoy it for long because you got ganked by the NKVD

I don't have the title "Master Fisherman" because it is dull and boring to do it.I tried but failed.

I don't even want this title until i actually earned it.

However, i think it is a great idea to buy titles. But not titles related to achievements in game. You need to earn those.

But a title, not obtainable ingame, would not harm. I would like a title "Village idiot", or "Cattle herder".

So, great idea but not for titles currently ingame that have to be earned.

Excellent idea!
I would be glad to pay for trial skin. Why I have to do trials to get skin?
If ZOS let players to buy some trial skins for Crowns then it will give them money to make new content for everyone, and players like me who don't want to do trials but would be glad to have the trial skin will get it.
How do you know if someone actually completed trials or he just bought this skin? Even if he tell you that, how could this fact bother you? Are you thinking that if you had to grind trials so long to get the skin then everyone should do the same?

I am amazed how many people bite such low quality bait.

That said I would like to have guild membership scrolls introduced. Make it so i can buy a scroll, then use it, select a guild out of all guilds on the server and then forcibly join it. They wont be allowed to kick me and i will automatically get a rank that allows me to participate in all guild activities. This is fair because it has no numerical advantage attached.
