notsure, some ppl seem to be using MSA axes combined with flurry, others use Masteraxes for the 1,5k extra bleeddmg on Twin slashes.

However which set they use besides Blooddrinker I dunno :/

I've seen a guy run dw masters axes, blood drinker with kena for the overcharge damage buff and tbh it was impossible to beat.
He was also hitting a lot of crits. Not sure if that or raw damage is better... Aka if Precise or Nirnhoned are better. Since he was a Nightblade I would guess precise. Khajiit and he was pretty good too. Great timing on everything. Something I can't replicate. I honestly have no idea how he plays exactly though. My guess is add in defile if you're not nightblade. Reverb bash can be seriously OP if you can keep that up.

EDIT 2: Got to talk to him

He has master's BOW for increased direct damage, Nirnhoned, Damage Enchantment, and Masters 1hand Axes. He runs Nirnhoned on Main weapon + Precise on Offhand, both stamina absorb enchant.

Gear: Kena, Blooddrinker, Agility. Jewellery weapon dmg enchanted. Armor is all Impen.
Said to swap monster set to something else if I die too much. Perhaps Troll King? Didn't specify.
Mundus: Warrior or Serpent if running out of stam.
Generally using Tripots, Weapon Damage pots and Escape pots (dunno what that is)
Get as much damage as you can, but try to keep the crit around 50% too as it helps by a long shot.
I know he uses Bloodthirst as well.... Not sure why... Healing perhaps?

Hope I didn't forget something. He also confirmed bleeds completely ingore all resistances. However not certain damage decreasing buffs and impen.

1 hand + shield could be viable if you can't get defile from anything else, not sure what set.... Could even be master's too.. I mean you have 2500 direct heal from it + armor. But thats only my guess. Or heck I'd even go for maelstrom... It's 2000 Magicka and Stamina on heavy attacks.

Stack up bleeds and let Implosion do the rest.

This is interesting... Stack up Bleeds,, Werewolf + Another stack of bleeds and Anguish's defile.... (Note that the werewolf defile is base 40% instead of 30%)

Hell yeah I can see this working great. + all the direct damage increase. I know the guy i mentioned above is indeed a werewolf, however I haven't seen him use it when we fought.

I feel like they really shine on a Stam Sorc.

You can pretty easily apply pressure and keep up your bleeds, given your mobility and surge healing. Plus bleeds ignore resistances, meaning that Stam Sorcs lack of naitive penetration isn't an issue. And finally as an added bonus, Bleeds count as physical damage, and thus can proc implosion, making it easier to finish people off.

Nice. And with shacklebreaker you can streak and dark deal a lot which is great for open world.

This thread makes me want to test if vma duel wield and blood drinker would buff rend.

IIRC rend is not a bleed, so blood drinker isn't going to buff it, however, Maelstrom Daggers will.

Personally I go with an Asylum Battleaxe on my other bar, it lets me apply another bleed, as well as giving me access to some burst damage. But you can also run a Master Axe and use cleave for another bleed, or a Maelstrom Axe for another physical dot, though it won't be buffed by Blood Drinker.

If you´re wondering if Blooddrinker buffs a certain skill or set, it´s very easy to test. Blooddrinker will directly change the tooltip of the skills/sets that it buffs. If the tooltip remains unchanged, Blooddrinker doesn´t affect it.

I was thinking along the lines:
5 Strength of the Automaton (bleed is physical damage so it will get buffed)
5 Blood Drinker (another 20% buff to those) or 3 Agility 2 Velidreth for higher stats and a debuff (disease damage can defile)
2 x Master axes Nirnhoned/Precise front bar with Rending Slashes/Blood Craze
1 x Master battleax Back bar Nirnhoned back bar with Brawler for extra bleed or Asylum battleax for ultimate generation or 1 Master bow for extra weapon damage.

I mean it's still going to work, but I feel like it is less good on a warden, because you aren't going to make use of what makes the Warden great.

Surprised no one mentioned the other Medium set from Horns:

    Pillars of Nirn:

5th piece - When you deal damage, you have a 10% chance to create a fissure underneath the enemy after 1 second, dealing 2,000 Physical Damage to all enemies within 2.5 meters and causing them to bleed for an additional 8,000 Physical Damage over 10 seconds. This effect can occur once every 10 seconds.

If I were utilizing bleed, I’d use DW/2Hander (Great Axe). 5 piece Drinker / 5 Automaton - Master axes (1h) / Master Great Axe

Add a dash of axe bleed, a Rending slash or two, and a carve (2hander line, nice bleed). Body will literally look like Carrie.

Kudos to who mentioned this before - Werewolf would be so awesome here.

    2 Questions:

    1. is a bleed build viable in VMA? Could completely drop any pen, throw it all into Mighty/Thurm/Master at Arms
    2. Can bleeds crit?

DO. NOT. WIPE. (in game OR out!)

Let me restate what's already been stated: stacking bleeds is hardly a new thing in PvP.

Doesn't anyone remember the patch where bow-users would suddenly die when sniping someone wearing leather armor while they blocked? Hilarious Twin Sister set bug . Except I was planning on starting to use it and never ended up doing so due to the bug. I always seem to want to use something when a bug, and consequent exploit, keeps me from doing so, and then I totally forget once the bug is fixed and never do it.

It seems so odd to me that people keep posting things here like they're mysterious rather than simply using google.

Warden has fantastic class skills, and basically if you are going to run a bleed build on one, you are going to have to give some of those skills up to fit in the ones you want to enable the build.

I mean it relies on weapon skill lines and gear, so you can run a bleed build on any class, but the thing is, on some classes you need to give up what makes the class strong in order to do so.

Bleeds are not that effective against experienced PvPers.

I mean, you can try to build for a bleed build but it's going to be underwhelming to say the least. You're better off building for burst builds or sustained 'burst' damage that doesn't involve purge-able DoTs.
