PLEASE, let us hide individual armor parts on outfits

Are all examples of outfits I immediately created before realizing there wasn't an option to hide individual pieces on the PTS, and now I'm really sad that there's a big chance it won't be implemented in the update.

The sole reason an outfit system was created was to allow people to give their characters an unique appearance regardless of the equipped pieces of armor, and removing certain parts (mainly the ugly shoulder pads and useless belt buckes) is a BIG part of that, a shirtless brawler, a thin stealth outfitted rogue, a fine dressed mage without shoulder pads or gloves, and so on, even if this opens up to naked waifus running around, I don't care, and I bet if that's the price we pay to be able to actually freely customize our appearance, most people don't care.

So pretty please, consider this, and the already good outfit system would be MORE fun than it already is.

Let's slow down, and make sure we can at least hide our helmets correctly first.

Though I do in fact eventually want this option too.

Completely agreed. I’d be happy even if we could only hide shoulders/shoes, since that would prevent people from running around nude, as you mentioned.

I totally agree, I really want to be able to show off the chest, I like putting tattoos/skins on my characters and want to be able to show them off!
If you want to get around the people running around nude, maybe the only thing you can't hide are pants? But honestly people run around in the bathers towel all the time at the moment which is only a tiny bit more covered then what people would look like wight no Armour on, so I don't really see the issue.

That's a good point, locking only the pants is not a bad idea, but again, nordic bath towels are there to show that people really don't care. I really dig bestial races showing off their bodies, it really fits their nature, I always wanted to make a huge green lizard that walks around with only shorts (basically Lizard from spider man), but my only option was the damn towel, if I could hide pieces I would be able to make Lizard's cosplay.

I would really appreciate this as well. It seems like basic functionality that should exist. The fact that we have the ability to hide helmet implies that this is do-able.

Well in all honesty, there is no such thing as a NUDE character... you strip everything off and they still have coverings... and on male characters it looks like a black Speedo... so it's not like you can't see the same thing at a local beach.

But, ZOS is prone to overreacting... remember how we couldn't dye weapons because they expected everyone would be running around with PINK weapons... which turned out to be FALSE. I have yet to see a single pink weapon since they allowed us to dye our weapons. So perhaps ZOS should look at this and realize that their fears were just that... which never materialized into reality as far as 'pink weapons' went.

Yet, if nothing else, HIDE SHOULDERS!! They are the bane of almost every single player trying to create a perfect outfit. I'd also like to hide belt as well, but that's lower on my priority list.

I just want to be able to hide all hip flaps and crotch flaps. Some of the hip flaps in this game are so abnormally large and ugly and many times they just float on the sides of the armor or costume because they design is so bad. And crotch do not look good under any circumstances!

I use purple weapons if that counts lol

There was a Nude glitch -maybe around thieves guild pts? that removed every thing even the underwear

why not just erase the code that gives shoulders a visual appearance in the first place.

One thing that really pissed me off is adding monster helms and shoulders first.Being able hide hideous shoulder pieces should have priority.

I want the option to hide any armor piece we want, the exact same code they use for hide hat/helm in the outfit station options.

ok. I just don't want something like the ability to hide something you don't want in the first place to require cash.

I would love to be able to do this! At the moment, Particularly with belts and shoulders, I always feel like I am just having to choose the ones which are least visible, because I really do dislike them all! Not that there is anything wrong with the designs, but I much prefer the look of outfits without the shoulders and belts!
