I'm running bloodspawn, automaton , and ravager atm. You can replace one set with bone pirate (usually auto) if you prefer extra sustain. But this set up with serpent mundus is quite nice for me. (DW/2h). Bloodspawn procs often, and so does ravager (from weaves, burning light and initial rending slashes)
Mazari the Resurrected (AD)- PVP stamplar main
Maz the Druid - PVP group stam warden

Trying a s&b/2h stamplar out at the moment. Ravager/impregnable/bloodspawn. Very tanky but need to have recovery on all jewelery pieces because stamplar can't sustain. Less damage than DW but I'm loving reverb bash, it definitely makes up for less damage and really helps take out those players that just won't die.

Probably my biggest issue it because I'm 5h heavy I have to choose between rally and FM and its probably the hardest morph choice in the game for all of my characters. Sometimes that burst heal really saves me but alot of the time it's just delaying my death because I am stuck going nowhere.

i dunno how u guys can play with under 2k stam regen. I run with 2.5-3k and it's barely enough. One of break free, dodge roll, jabs, cc, dots up, and i'm out of stamina. Feels like whole Cryodill wears cost increase poisons.

I've tried 5 bone pirate and 5 Rav and it feels weak. 5k weapon damage fully buffed, 2k Stam recovery. 33k Stam. Orc. 5 medium 2 heavy. It felt like opponents melted faster when i used 5 hundings 5 sprig . Fully buffed I was like 37k Stam 1.6 recovery and 4500 give or take. Dw , 2h for both set ups. Anyone have insight?
    1st combo 43%crit with jabs, 2nd 56 or 66% cri with jabs.

1 kragh 1 Domi for both.

You sustain with 1600 Stam Regen and actually mitigate enough damage in five medium?

Took mine in to get caltrops. I used 5 fortress 5 bone pirate (can't remember monster helm combo) S+B on back bar to give me the 5 pieces of fortress, Aslyum maul on front bar. 2 heavy 5 medium.

It was actually really fun and worked quite well, I got caltrops unlocked in just a few hours. I still prefer my Warden but I might start playing this guy in there as a back up should wardens get massively nerfed in update 18.

Are people running mostly heavy or mostly medium? I’ve found medium to be particular squishy on my new stamplar when compared to stam sorc. I do tend to let my buffs fall off. Had an easier time on magplar because it felt easier to stay stationary due to bol. Stamplar needs to be more mobile so it often feels difficult to keep resistance buffs up or I end up dropping a new one every 8 seconds or so and that’s just a resource drain. Might be nice to see a more usable stamina morph. Definitely synergizes better with magplars. It seems like Templars would be uniquely suited to hybrid builds of those were a thing.

yea, I weave a lot of heavy attacks and only jab when they are cc'd or stunned, whatever. So sustaining isnt an issue, but with medium armor sometimes I do melt but thats when im getting zerged and cant pop remembrance/LoS. I time my burst/cc with potl/DB so I am not spamming skills wasting stam.

EDIT: just got done farming auto. think i'm going to run it next patch with bone pirate or a defensive set. 5 medium 2 heavy DW/2h ftw lol

I'm using 5 mechanical acuity with 5 bone pirate and TK monster set. 5 med 2 hvy. Dual wield axes and 2h. 38k max 1800 rec with 3700 wpn dmg. Once acuity procs just PoL drop dawn breaker and jab away with 100 percent crit.

The few time I bring my stamplar in pvp I run 2H/DW with 5 bone pirate 5 ravager (dw) and TK. If you have access to malestorm 2h use it. Jabs will be on DW to proc ravager bonus. You can set your jewels glyph to suit your play style belancing wep damage/stamina recovery.

I used Ravager with 2H, and Ravager still proc'ed. I have since switched to Innate Axiom, though, and seems to be getting a bit more juice.

I've thought about running that set. Is it easy to notice when it procs?

I'm actually gonna level an orc stamplar when the new patch drops (crown crate leech  ), I'll probably run impreg/truth/BS s&b/2h or go with acuity/bone/TK if I wanna play medium. I'm actually hyped for stamplar!

I run heavy and love it. I can't stand the thought of a stamplar warrior face to face in medium armour.

Heavy s&b 2h all day for that classic feel.

You turn blue and the screen gets "fuzzy" on the edges. So yes very easy to tell. Also makes large fights feel intense when it procs because of the screen change.
