What is the best glyphs to use on front/backbar now? I have a Templar healer and use Crusher enchantment (front bar, master staff) and Weaking enchant (back bar, lightning)

I’ve seen a few decent healers use these but is this the best for trials etc? Is there a best?

i wouldn't use either of those on my staffs, the tank ought to be running those and they might be infused, so yours would override the tanks, which is bad.

i would have a charged back bar lighting staff and using a lightning enchant on it. front bar is either a magic return or a fire glyph, maybe a berzerk enchant but i don't like enchants that need to use light or heavies only.

I’ve got a few friends that are using this doing vmol so it seems decent? Otherwise there would be problems. I’m not too sure it over rides anything?

OK, that's interesting.. I use powered master staff & charged lightniing..

Maybe I shouldn't have these glyphs? That sucks.. more kuta's... i mean, it seems OK with the vet trials that I've done so far?

I use charged with lightning damage, infused with absorb magicka on the other.

I'll probably change the charged + lightning glyph depending on how the off balance changes go.

I use a charged lightning with lightning enchant back bar and a precise or powered restro front bar. Precise can get more crit heals, powered increases all healing.

In the next patch I will be changing my lightning staff set up. May even completely remove it. There are so many sources of off-balance when running just 2 or 3 sorcs in a trial, having the healer running it isn't going to make a difference with the new cooldown. The only thing the staff will be useful for is adding damage from wall of elements and adding ele drain.

Powered is greater then precise unless you want to dps/heal. These numbers were before powered was buffed.

sorcs do not have a innate source of off balance, it comes from lighting wall. next patch mag dps will switch to back bar fire staffs, cause fire wall is more dps then lighting. so healer will still run lightning.

    - I use charged lightning back bar with lightning enchant on back bar since it maximizes the off-balance up time. Next patch I suspect only healers will be running lightning blockade anyway, since almost any magicka DD is better off runing flame blockade.
    - I use powered restoration front bar with berserker enchant to get a buff to my spell damage, since typical healer gear doesn't provide much in that respect, and also jewelry glyphs are recovery. If I have problems sustaining I'll simply apply magicka return poison since it's much more effective than absorb magicka enchatment. Another alternative would be hardening but I run Harness Magicka anyway so that won't mean much.

Running target debuff enchants like weakening or crusher is not recommended since they override the same effects applied by the tank with a weaker version of themselves, if he is using Torug's Pact set.

Since lightning heavy attacks are far better than fire and they deal 100% damage to closely grouped enemies, and the lightning staff increases AOE damage. The AOE damage increase is far more beneficial on your back bar, where all of your AOE's are, than a fire staff.

Infused weakening is great, better than the mending set for single target. I would avoid crusher on healer (even infused crusher) since many tanks use infused Torugs crusher and the non-Torugs will overwrite it for a DPS loss. I suppose the same could be said for avoiding weakening of the tank is using infused Torugs weakening, but this is far less common than crusher on tanks, and they typically have a hard time bar swapping twice every 5s to keep good weakening uptime.

Other than weakening, I would say absorb Magicka for sustain or berserker for bigger heals. Shock can also be good if you don't have many DPS doing lightning damage, but it's going to be less important with the off-balance nerf incoming.
