You can just make an outfit without a helmet and it is fine.
Holy crap you guys are good of finding stuff to wine about...
yes the polymorph will suffer the ability to not be able to hide helmet but for the cost of having the most amazing costume job for your character, please go drink cool aid and be abit happy.
cheers

ummm no? There is absolutely no defendable logical reason to remove such a feature. Hide helm should have remained in the gameplay settings in the first place.

Yes there is if there a problem to implement it with the new system, it was also stated that it will come back when they can do so.
Can you provide a quote? Logically, using the hide helm in collection tab should work with polymorphs. Did they actually deliberately state and intend otherwise?

I missed ESO live. I would appreciate quotes or paraphrasing on what the devs -actually- said.
Always focusing on the negative.
This is exactly the kind of thing we needed to happen for them to start looking into more polymorph customization. If integrating polymorphs into Outfits means each one unlocking a covered and uncovered head model and an armor-compatible skin, polymorphs become far more desirable, gives them more value, and the inconvenience will have ultimately been worth it.
There's only 11 in the game so far so it's not a large workload and making this change this year would bode well for adding more in the future.
