Outfit Station and Weapon Dyeing

The outfit system is pretty cool and welcome. It brings in one thing that a lot of people asked for: weapon dyeing. But you can only dye your weapon in the outfit tab (hence you have to pay for the dyeing and integrate it in an outfit). But how about if I don't want to create a whole outfit just for dyeing my weapon? One might want to dye one's weapon but not change one's whole outfit! Can we get the weapons in the normal gear dyeing tab and have the option of just dyeing our weapons without an outfit change?
