The 30+ Crown Gems has also bumped me over 100 crown gems (109) in case there's something I really wanna grab (in legendary or lower, never cared 'bout apex mounts) in the next crate season, so i'm happy.

They were free so i don't complain. Got a few costumes/hats and a mount. For the rest potions i sold for gems. I already had the mageguild costume with the 3 earlier free crates.

You had to be subbed with eso+ and logged in every day consecutively without being logged in all the time.

ok bought my first and only crate with my ESO plus crowns to get the gems for the senche. Got another pocket mammoth lol but ended up with 105 gems.

Yeah I got flame horse from the last 4 free ones and got it again today. 132 gems.

What I would love though- is if they would fix flame horse's tail. Since it looks ridiculous and you see your backside all the time.

This season have nothing interesting for me personally, apex mounts are awful again (the only looks good are the Storm ones IMO), so I don't bother, but hey, I got 40 gems from those crates. Maybe in the future seasons I'll put them to use.

Potions, a costume I already had, four tattoos (2 dupes), two masks I won't wear, some scrolls, la la la. Only thing of real value was the Masked Bear. I would have loved to get the black camel, but no luck. Still, free... and I picked up the pocket mammoth and shadow senche when they were in the store, so I'm good.

All my crates contain wonderful things, like Radiant Apex mounts. At least, they do until I open them. If I open them, maybe they won't, and that would be depressing. That is why I don't open them. I now have 51 of these free Crown Crates.

You should open them, there might be an alien in there

Therefore, I do not open them because they will be a disappointment.

If you have found the maximum way to derive enjoyment from them, then more power to you

as the system is a disappointment
and the maximum value of the crate to me is always equal to the lowest quality item in the crate

If my new mount, (which is not suited to any of my characters,

were able to be exchanged with another player for gold
it would have a 'value' of some sort to me

the 'best' thing in a given crate is typically a matter subjective opinion on cosmetics or mementos

and makeup is never any fun unless you open it and wear it (my characters won't) o:

but physical collectibles are always worth the most in their original packaging
so can see where you are coming from maybeish

2 different Mage outfits (that I actually wanted), a tattoo I'll never use, and after breakdown a load of crown gems. One day they'll have something I really want in those damn crates and I'll grab it with gems and save myself the hassle.

I did get the Malacath Benner but I broke it down. I'm never gonna use it and the gems are more valuable then selling it for gold.

I got a face marking, centurion costume (three times lol), fiery orb memento, black camel, mammoth and mudcrab. Think I also got a mages guild costume that I already had. Either way I got like 45 gems out of it, so looks like I'll eventually be able to get something I actually want from these crates without spending any irl money on them.

Mounts: Ice Wolf looks better than I expected. Nothing will replace my DK's camel except the Black Camel of Ill Omen, though, and I'm nearly 40 gems shy of getting that. Hopefully it will still be there next season when more free crates arrive. Senche may suit an alt.
Pet: I cannot abide flickering wings, they make my eyes jitter and then my tummy turns over. Will not use.
Costume: Maybe? I have a couple of alts that could use some basic armor, I guess.
Body Tattoo: Can't use on my DK since she has ritual scarring on body and face and any other markings smooth her skin out.
Gems from already owned items: Well, if they added up to 100, I'd be happy. For the camel. Would rather have gotten the Sentry Cat
Riding Lessons: I have finally completed one alt's mount to max, nearly 4 years after starting this game. These will help out the next alt.
Elixirs/Potions: Converted some to gems, kept some others for now since I'm a fan of getting health back in combat.
Poisons: Gemmed up right away, I prefer enchants to poisons.

So certainly not a bad haul for free crates, but nothing that had me clapping with glee. I am happy I didn't get any flame mounts, though, they are absolutely not my style and I'd feel bad about getting them and putting them away forever when others are drooling for them.

I opened 24 crates 12 for na and eu ps4 and the same for pc. ps4 na nothing remarkable. ps4 eu again nothing good. pc na only nice thing i got was the leopard senche cub pet. on pc eu I got the flaming camel mount and the ice wolf mount. so the freebies were worth the effort to log in. I extracted enough gems on ps4 na to get the leopard senche mount.
I bought 5 crates earlier and got from them an ice wolf mount and a flaming wolf mount. so for this round of crates i have done pretty well.
