    Nothing,TES6 will never happen.

Sure it will happen. Of course most of us will either be dead or sitting in wheelchairs when it releases. o:)

People that joined ESO because they are elder scrolls single game players will play both. People who came from other MMOs to play ESO will not play both. In the end there will be very little change to ESO populations

For myself, im allready considering tarting Skyrim again since i have 600+ hours on it allready but never even finished the main quest yet. The game is amazing compared to ESO which in comparison is monotonous due general MMO stuff. Skyrim gets new content everyday in a form of mods and to think that people make better stories and adventures for free than what ESO offers in high price.. Choice is simple but i have also growwn fond of my characters andi play with my friend so ESO always has a place on my play. I just hope it would come in smaller shards of server so that less people would be seen in overall, the world is overpopulated for the world it is.

it will lose subs if es 6 comes out. So is it worth losing some subs while peeps play elder scrolls 6 and will those players come back>>??

I can't see elders scrolls 6 ever happening. If peeps want to play modern elder scrolls game than its the online one.

Its an epic game, with aesthetic style they have been loyal to. So it will be successful for many years.

TES:6 will come around 2030
ESO was only meant to go on for 5-7 years at most.

I distilled out most of the irrelevant stuff to leave the meat of the situation.

Simply put, TES 6 is so far out that TES 6 and ESO exist in two completely separate spaces in the realm of existence. The ESO that we are playing today isn't going to be an issue when TES 6 comes out. It will have run its course already, replaced by whatever ZOS works on next.

Hines recently repeated that BGS has two whole big huge games to release before TES 6. Just like Howard said a couple years ago. That estimate of 2030 is probably a lot closer to the actual release date than people think.

I’ll play it but when I beat it what else is there to do, I’ll keep playing eso

Played fallout 4 still played eso
Played dark souls still played eso
Played final fantasy still played eso

Only thing that will kill eso is a better MMORPG that makes me excited

This This This, except change Final Fantasy for Horizon Zero Dawn

I love the TES series and have played since Arena (and it's spin -offs).

But looking at how long I play them it is diminishing.

Arena I haven't played that long and is also to long ago. But:

    Daggerfall: 2000+ hours
    Morrowind: 1200+ hours
    Oblivion: 800+ hours
    Skyrim: 120 hours

I must admit, Daggerfall has most hours because of the bugs/errors/crashes and occasionally I was totally lost.
But also I was dedicated to those games up to Oblivion.
Oblivion was pretty boring. NPC's had 3 lines of text in contrast to the huge walls of text and hyperlinks with more text Morrowind had. Yeah it was not spoken, but I rather have interesting things to read that listen to crappy boring speech. But still, I played Oblivion a good time.
Skyrim was a great game, but in 120 hours I did all quests, visited/explored the entire map and basically was bored to the bone after that. I tried another casual play through, but it's just more fun with other people (ie, ESO)

So if TES 6 comes out, I will play it. Perhaps more hours then Skyrim I don't know yet. But I do know if I did all this and that it's time for PvP and player interaction. You won't find that in TES 6. No, ESO will still be around alive and kickin'.

Sir, if you only have 120 hours of Skyrim then have you really played Skyrim?

Aren't any and all further "versions" of ESO just going to be incorporated into the current version? Isn't that how this game was always supposed to work; be forever evolving and growing?

Maybe when Fallout MMO appears all the ESO playerbase may migrate to it. In the other hand, I take some breaks from ESO to play other games but I still return to play ESO and support ZOS with my sub and crowns.

Ill play it until i finish and then come back. Simple really. MMOs continue in perpetuity , single player rpgs have a finite end. Even if you can use mods, they still are like adding salt to the meal you ate every day for a year.

People play ESO6 for a while. Then they realise that they can't brag their accomplishments, mansions and cool outfits to AI and return to MMO B)
