Why can't you use Ballista ultimate in Cryodiil?

Being in crowd control (cc) will disable your use of combat abilities until you break cc.

Besides that there can be occasional lag in large fights where there are a lot of players.

But you can use the ultimate in Cyrodiil ...

I can't. its full but always greyed out. I even tried when I was alone in a middle of the field with a wolf and it would not deploy. I can use werewolf and others. I have tried at least 10 times, even logged out and back on, took it off and put back on.

its as if it thinks a bow is not equipped.

Ballista has a range limit. If you cast it at someone and they immediately move out of range from you, the Ultimate will continue it's animation, but none of it will actually hit.

I can't even get it to work.

basically you see it full but the picture is grey.

Probably because it's a targeted ulti. Like Meteor. You have to point it at someone. You can't just drop it in the middle of a field.

yes, but it acts as if its not.

I have dual/bow setup,

werewolf on dual weild bar and ballista on bow bar with poison injection and endless hail. those skills work

Just had someone say their destro ulti stopped working. Neither would it drop nor would it allow for morphing. Might be some sort of new bug.

Not a new bug ultimates can get stuck.

No idea how to get yours unlocked other than taking it off both bars and using another. Then try to slot it back and build it up

.....maybe some of your gear bugs it.....who knows with ZOS bugs
