Help with DK Dark Elf build, looking for DPS Stamina build with preferably bow and dual wielding.

It is more oriented towards PvE but I wouldn't mind it working decently in PvP(noncp) as well.

I don't know if this is much to ask for. xP I looked around and couldn't find quite anything that suited me completely, so yeah, any ideas?

5 pc Hundings/5pc NMG with Agility Jewelry is easy enough to have built for you if you lack the 6 traits for each set. You can also farm Sunderflame, Toothrow, and Spriggans. Shadow of the Red Mountain is a pretty nifty little set as well.

PvP and PvE are two entirely different builds. You'll have to do some searching on the forums/internet for a viable PvP build.

With a Dark Elf though, it might be worth going with a magicka based character as their passives really lean towards magicka.

And wouldn't you know it, Alcast has a build for that as well:

But if you are adamant on stamdDK, there's nothing wrong with your race really, until you start trying to eek out the last nth % of dps.

I build designed for both PVE and PVP will do neither very well. Stam DK with DW/Bow is essentially the apex of PVE DPS at the moment. Check out guides from Alcast or Fear Turbo (or really anyone) as they are all using essentially the same skills and rotation. If you want to bring it into PVP, you will certainly want to make some changes.

What I am wondering is if your racial passive Destructive Ancestry buffs the flame damage from the SotRM volcano that erupts...and by using the Skoria helm, perhaps you'd become a freaking fire machine!

There's plenty of PVE advice for StamDKs so I'll focus on PVP here.

First, some general advice for Stam builds.
1. You'll want to decide on medium or heavy armor. Medium armor lefts you hit much harder at the expense of being much squishier. Heavy Armor lets you be much tankier, but you'll sacrifice some damage and mobility.
2. Bow is your friend. Use a bow. Its your main ranged option, especially on a stamDK. Poison Injection is pretty lethal in PVP with that nasty DOT and effective execute. Snipe is great for a lot of things, but particularly ganking, shooting attackers from atop keep walls, and soloing resource guards.
3. Your other weapon depends on how you want to play. Many PVPers use Two-handed for the Rally healing, execute, splash damage, charge and knockback. If you want to be tankier, you can run with One-hand and Shield. Dual Wield will give you great AOE capabilities in melee and AOE protection with Blade Cloak.

Gear: again, you'll have to decide on medium or heavy. My advice to inexperienced PVPers or PVPers working on a new build is to build it tankier than you will end up. Extra tankiness, whether from heavy armor or from Medium Fortified Brass, will help you survive the learning process as you work out how to survive playing your new build. Please, use Impenetrable trait gear, at least 5 pieces - you can go Infused on the chest and legs if you need resources - but leave the Divines traits for the bomblades. (I advise this because I really learned a lot on my MagDK healer by putting her in Plague Doctor. That enabled me to learn how to survive on her instead of dying the second I made a mistake, and eventually I was able to go back to light armor and feel just as tanky as I had in Plague Doctor because I was so much more experienced with the build.)

Monster Sets: Skoria is a go-to for Stam and MagDKs alike because DKs have a ton of DOT skills. You will have both ranged and melee DOTs so this is a great option, and you'll get fire buffs from Dunmer.
Other options: Velidreth for good burst, Bloodspawn for Ulti regen, Earthgore for sheer burst healing when you need it, Troll King for health regen when you need it

The biggest difference between PVP builds and PVE builds is that in PVE DPS is all about sustained rotations of consistent damage. PVP DPS is all about burst. So in PVE, you want to rotate your skills so you have the most possible consistent damage at all times. In PVP, you want to line up your skills so that as much damage hits at the same time.

I use a dark elf as well. He's alittle squishy compared to an Imperial, Orc, or Redguard, (they sit at 20kish health, while I get about 18k with undaunted passives) but the dark elf bonus to fire, a 9% bonus to stamina and magicka, he's still really fun to play. What you lose in health you gain in Stam/magicka.

Just got a Sunderflame Axe from COA1, yesterday...Ditching my Sunderflame Sword later on today!

NICE!! I had a Sunderflame Axe while leveling. This is pretty much the build I'm going for but its Red Mountain and Hundings, with *eventually* a 2pc Skoria set.
