Jorvuld’s Guidance (Light)
Magicka Recovery
Magicka Recovery
Healing Done
Increases the duration of all Major buffs, Minor buffs, and damage shields you apply to yourself and allies by 40%

This seems interesting....

will it replace spell power cure... or maybe worm in the popularity contest.

Is it better in PvE or Pvp?

If only had been a monster helm.....

What are your guys thoughts?

I would imagine it opens up more options for healers as well as off tanks or main tanks for dungeons?

Jorvuld + Mad architect / War machine for more uptime on Major slayer & Warhorn uptime perhaps?

Might see some use on tanks as well, at least a variation of this setup.

This comb sounds interesting. Time for some alternative choices then spell power cure 100%

Same! 2 pc regen helps give a similar group buff set that trans gave but instead it will extend the durations of all buffs.
For templars, that means 40% extra seconds on our minor/major sorcery buff stacking, 40% more minor mending time outside rune, and a buff to ele drain minor magika steal time (and buff to using combat prayer/life giver for minor beserk from 8 seconds to 11.2 seconds).

But sadly it might be underperforming outside of light armor builds since you give up a 5pc bonus for this utility.

Does it benefit all buffs or just the named Major/Minor ones? Obviously, that makes a huge difference, e.g. in the case of Warhorn.

Does it affect enchantment effects, such as Weapon Damage or Crusher?

It allows Combat Prayer to be cast more rarely (or to be more useful in 4-man dungeons).

Even Elemental Drain can be cast more rarely.

    Major/Minor Mending could last longer.

Yeah. This could definitely be an interesting set for support-oriented builds. If nothing else, it might make them more FUN to play.

This set also looks very nice ... my Altmer template character approves.

Please note how AWESOME the dragon priest staff looks.

(have added some different dyes to the armor, FYI.)

EDIT: This is the Caluurion’s Legacy (Light) robe and shoulders (apologies). I'll upload Jorvuld’s next time I'm on PTS.

Seems nice on paper but I wonder if this +40% uptime is worth giving up some other things

Do we give up other bonuses to easy the application of buff uptime ?

^^This. I'm sure there will be situations where the 40% duration allows you to skip a phase or burn through a boss faster but in most cases you are giving up a 5-piece bonus that is more beneficial.

Given the support options a warden has available, this could be an interesting set on a warden tank. Something like 5 Ebon/5 Jorvuld/2 lord warden. Could also be neat on a group shielding DK tank for longer, bigger group shields.

Thinking about I wonder if synergy buffs count if so you could have major vatality,

Does elemental drain count as bufg or debuffs?

    Minor protection

    Restiance buff

    Major Slayer as someone said

    Majo aegis

This is also works on bonsus set pets gets.

    To name some

So the two most important buffs aren’t increased in duration ._.

So what all does this affect for a trials healer? Seems best on Warden. I'm theorizing:

    - Major Force (aggressive warhorn) 9s to 12.6s
    - Minor Toughness (aggressive warhorn) 30s to 42s
    - Minor Berserk (combat prayer) 8s to 11.2s
    - Major Ward/Resolve (frost cloak) 24s to 33.6s
    - Major Protection (northern storm) 8s to 11.2s
    - Minor Intellect and Minor Endurance (enchanted growth) 20s to 28s
    - Major Prophecy (lotus blossom) 20s to 28s
    - Major Mending (accelerated growth) 3s to 4.2s
    - Shields (e.g. Barrier) 30s to 42s

Anyone know if it works with the 10% stamina and magicka from warhorn too?

    Seems pretty powerful overall.

Edit: I'm thinking this + SPC on one healer, and SPC + Worm on the other.

I see no change at all with this set. I was curious to see if it would impact warhorn and combat prayer. Looks exactly the same. Would have been very useful to run in a trial on one healer.

So what exactly does it buff?

@ZOS_GinaBruno I think this set may be bugged. Should it be boosting time of combat prayer and warhorn? There are no changes being shown on PTS. TY

It doesn't buff ele drain nor quick siphon. But it buffs potion major/minor buffs.

It also buffs combat prayer, pirate skeleton set, and boosts Templar minor mending as well as major armor buffs. It buffs cleave minor heroism, and I'm going to test if it buffs poison durations.

    Edit:
Also buffs major mending from resto heavy attack. Buffs smugglers set to 45 seconds (though unrealistically using up 2 5pc sets). And I didn't do any backbar tests (5pc was always on, but bar swap displayed a visible blue proc so it's always turning on but can't confirm if it affects duration numbers if you backbar it.)

I don't have the PTS (console pleb here). Can someone test if it works like a VMA weapon. That is, if you cast buffs on one bar with the 5pc set, then swap to a bar without the set, do your buffs keep the 40% duration?

I don't see this being useful in PVP at all. Specially for shields and magsorcs. shields dont last 6 seconds in combat anyway, and healing done is useless for them. I'd rather have a useful 5 piece. And does this mean the heal from healing ward will take 40% longer to be applied?
