    What about style materials?
Will it become more and more worthless about this?
Will there be less need for mimic stones?
If I buy a crown store exlusive motif, with outfit system no more need mimic store?
Some as you can use an cheaper crafted set and hide it, however style stone tend to be an minor cost for cp160 crafted gear.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Should be a way to customize your mounts accessories, ie saddle, bridle, armor etc.

    PC EU
    PvP only

I don't know if this was mentioned, nor if it's even on topic, but was there any info on hiding shoulders? Seeing as how this update will be towards outfits and accessories.

Not sure what you mean by this.

If you mean “hide” as in choosing another shoulder motif style instead of what your character currently wears ... then yes you can certainly do that on the costume template.

The rest of the costume template would be the style of your current armor (as long as it’s a known motif on at least one character).

I mean would we be able to hide shoulders as in completely remove them, just like the hide helmet option that we currently have? or is that something that is still planned in the future?

Nothing was said. I don't expect it.

I see you haven't done the Dark Brotherhood quest line. Plenty of blood graphics await you there!

Yeah, that wasn’t mentioned ... since the current “hide helmet” is a toggle in the UI settings.

Could be something for ZOS to consider for the future.

I still wonder where is the catch. Do I need ESO Plus to dye the Outfit?

i could see it happeing, they're trying to find worthwhile things to give +subscribers and costume dying for eso+ is already a thing ao would make sense.

Doesn't really make sense to only be able to dye outfits as ESO+. It would make the outfit system close to useless for Non-ESO+ then. Not being able to dye costumes while not subscribed makes costumes a heck of a lot less interesting for NON ESO+ but still worthwhile. Unlike costumes, outfits can be made up out of many different styles together and thus also colors. If you can't adjust that it would look absolutely horrible in most cases with a mismatch of colors, so why use it at all? Let alone buy extra slots.
For example an extra outfit slot for ESO+ while subscribed that locks after you loose ESO+ makes way more sense. It would be a bonus to ESO+ instead of rendering the new system useless for non subscribers.

You can leave any of the seven (7) armor costume slots blank on the template ... so that armor slot would not have a costume overlay when you apply the template.

I understand and like this system you described. But I have a question. What if I only hide my headpiece with the costume, will my guild tabard be visible (since I don't use that costume slot), like when I'm using any headpiece costumes from the crown store?

I'm really guild-oriented so the tabard is important for me. I wonder why others don't want to use this, one of the very few features of guildplay in this game.

Please all remember that during ESO Live, it was very clear that this is just the beginning. There was reference to using only current motifs as styles "for now". I would expect that we will see iterations of the system in future updates.

Note that learned motifs will become "collectibles" for the purpose of costume creation, so I expect we'll see an increase in the possibility of "winning" new collectible-only styles etc. in future game content. Given how this is being implemented, it would also make sense for collected costumes and Monster Sets to become costume styles too (they are already "collectibles" - but I guess we won't see all of that implemented at the same time.

    Hope that helps :)

Yes, give ESO+ 1-2 free outfit slots.
