Where are my crowns?!?

I'm extremely upset over this situation. I bought crowns around 2:30 am mst today and I have yet to receive them! It's even more strange because it's not in my billing history but my bank account has a pending charge for that exact amount! Can someone explain to me what is going on here?

Apparently this is affecting multiple people and the official Bethesda Support Twitter account just mentioned that they are aware and looking into it.

I see and interesting. I hope a solution is found and that this charge does not go through on my bank account without my crowns.

Okay so...ESO has solved their issues with the store. So where are my crowns? Why is there still a pending charge on my bank statement? Can I get a zenimax representative here?

It seems that any transactions that failed and are only showing an authorization in your bank account or paypal aren't actually going to go through, but maybe @ZOS_JessicaFolsom can shed some extra light on this for everyone.

More information, from the ticket I opened:

"It looks like the issue is now resolved and your most recent payment went through. Regarding the failed payments, more than likely what is happening is that the merchant, in your case Paypal, has put a hold on the funds for the time being, but those should never clear so you shouldn't be charged. After a few days, the pending payments should clear out."


The "recent payment went through" is in regards to being asked to try the transaction again, after I had 2 fail, so they could watch it happen.

The two that I had trouble with should never get authorization and release the 'hold'.

So, you *should not* be charged, and would not receive crowns. You'll likely have to run it again to get a real transaction to happen.
