Maybe since you’re so familiar with what a zergling is it’s because you’re actually a Zerg surfer? I’ve been maining a Nightblade since beta. Mass hysteria has been on and off my bar for years. Prior to the change the skill was great and after the change it’s still awesome. Maybe you’re new but there is another morph that can break up zergs better than mass hysteria. But no. You don’t want that morph even though it does EXACTLY what you want because you want the game to cater to you and that’s it. Screw balance! Forget making a choice! Let’s design a skill around you! Let’s make an easy mode! Awesome show great job!

I’m ALL for raising caps on other stuff to break up zergs and such, go right ahead it won’t effect me whatsoever when I’m by myself lulz. But here is a little tip from me: don’t stand in the path of the bomb/Zerg, and you won’t die! Who would of thought that not standing in front of 50 players spamming AoE would help you survive? Gee golly that’s amazing news!

People have wanted nerf after nerf and CONSTANTLY complain about mass hysteria being overpowered. People like you have horse blinders on. You don’t ask for buffs that are A. Not needed, if you can’t win with the current mass hysteria you don’t deserve a higher cap and B. That’s how you get things nerfed even worse. I wouldn’t mind it going back up to where it used to be, but I simply don’t need it to as I don’t rely on it for an I win button.

You think the change to mass hysteria was random? It was the same for three years but eventually they reached the tipping point because every other thread was complaining about the skill be OP and/or broken. But you can’t see that. Why use a morph that can fear a butt ton of players when you can pick you favorite and complain how you want it buffed?

1. Everyone here claims to be a solo player who 1vXes but based on what you're saying I have my doubts about that. Probably some console pug who is slightly less awful than the other people...and calling me a zergsurfer pfff!
2. Who is talking about breaking up zergs? If you were truly a 1vX player you would know how often you encounter more than two opponents when playing solo. Fear was a great skill in outnumbered situations, and one of the very few skills in the mablade toolkit that makes 1vXing on the class easier/possible (I mean you still can't compare it to a third shield and sorc streak for example, but it was good).
3. I can't "win" with the current Mass Hysteria I don't deserve a buff?t kind of an argument is that supposed to be??? When I come on the forums I don't expect to see polished rhetoric used in every single response, but this is...
Besides I think I am performing rather well in Cyrodiil, it's just that other cc's are now more useful in a lot of situations. I simply think it's a shame to see this unique class ability be replaced by generic skills like destructive touch.
4. The last part of your response was almost unintelligible so I'll skip that however calling me 5 for objecting to your language. I'm sorry but that "I disagree with damn near everything you said" made me conjure up the picture of some furious peasant bumpkin and anyway it was uncalled for, I didn't offend or didn't intend to offend anyone by starting this discussion -__-.

I don't really think mass hysteria is the issue. It's still strong as hell and the CC most likely to decide to be unbreakable just because.

There are maybe 3 good magNB's PCNA, and this class is kept afloat because of those players skill, and not because of the class. Those players would be just as good on any other class. MagNB is in need of some major help. Their damage sucks, their heals suck. They have good utility but most of it is bugged. I eat them alive in Cyro.

Cant take the OP seriously...he's got multiple threads about complaining about or requesting things be buffed to help his particular class, clear bias.

While we are at it, can we buff Mages Wrath, Dragon Leap, Shimmering Shield, and any other OP skills you can think of? Mass hysteria is fine, it is still arguably the best CC in the game. Until they fix CC's, no CC needs a buff as far as I am concerned.

I play stamsorc, magsorc, stamnb, magnb and magden actively (and I've played all classes at some point, except stamplar)...this allows me to have a fairly objective view of things. Alright then, I guess having played all classes I am no longer entitled to participate on the forums. No but seriously dude, there's tons of players making suggestions for the class they play on the most...in a way that makes sense even: People who have experience with a class know best what that class needs.

Also raising the mass hysteria cap would do NOTHING to hurt zergs. You act like jumping in the middle of a Zerg and fearing them will suddenly make their proxy’s, EotS, bugs, or healing springs amongst a plethora of other things that are already active, go away. You could fear ever single person in an organized Zerg and it wouldn’t do ANYTHING unless you were also in an organized group timing a burst while hey are all feared and by how you talk about being a super supreme soloist that’s unlikely to happen because everyone is a zergling but you...

Raising AoE damage caps would be something to help. When a person is dead ther aren’t doing anything else. A person who is feared breaks free in less than a second and goes on their merry way. You’re just mad because you think it’s balanced for one player to fight 24 people and win. Admit it. Go play a single player game if you want to feel like a god.

*that point when cognitive dissonance takes over and everyone else is wrong but him and he can’t accept it* lol. But that’s none of my business.
