ZOS give undaunt rank 10 in recent update but the rank does nothing...can we get a ult from undaunted ? (somethung support and need synergy, like other undaunted skills)

    Used to be fun when they actually worked

    Mostly I don't bother.
    Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
    Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
    Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
    Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

    Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
    House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
    Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

    That might not be a bad place to give a role specific ultimate.

    For tanks, that aoe taunt some people keeping begging for. By the time you've ground your way to Undaunted 10, you know what you're doing as a tank and have plenty of experience without an aoe crutch.

    For healers, a heal+resource return for the group (better than Warhorn) or a delayed burst heal/insta rez when a group member drops near dea on a boss' one hit kill mechanic.

    For DPS, well, more DPS? Perhaps an temporary increase to all sources of damage they produce.

    However, what I'd actually expect is something that does a normal damage ultimate but heavily buffs the group upon using the synergy, in keeping with the group effort of the Undaunted.

    I'd love an ultimate which, when everybody in the group (or minimum 3 other people) uses the synergy, drops a massive AoE.

    Fix synergies and give us this.

    "Empassioned Chant"

    Cost: 200 Ultimate

    Effect: Lead your comrades in an epic chant that raises the spell and weapon damage of you and nearby allies by 400 for 20 seconds and grants you and your allies Minor Slayer for 20 seconds.

    Bonus points if it plays "Undaunted, Undaunted, We Are Undaunted" when activated.

    looks to similar to Standart of Might imo ^^

    However the idea of granting minor, and major buffs to your group should be the way to go for ZOS.

    I'd like to see the Buffs Major Berserk, Major Force beeing added throuh the ult. This way it could also be viable on DPS, while Tanks and Healers keep Horn Rotation up.

    Zos stated they merely did it because many of us had points after rank 9. That was the only reason, to appease those that do not like something hung up part way.

    Forget an Ultimate, give Stam users a stam shield in bone shield that scales off stam and not health.

    I believe it should have to be a PvE specific ultimate since it’s gained through the PvE skill line.

    Giving buffs like Minor Force, Minor Berserk, and Minor Slayer would be useless. Because in a raid, your group members will likely already have those buffs through sets (VO/Moondancer), skills (Rearming Trap), and support players (Combat Prayer).

    Instead, give something like Major Slayer or Major Berserk and Major Mending. Simply, buffs that are not as attainable.

    Convert all ult you have, max at 500 (because sorc) to health, stam and mag for 4 allies around with in 10m = ult cost x 20. Max 500 ult give 10k health + 10k mag + 10k stam.

    Morph: also give allies major herroism for 10s

    Morph: also give allies damage shield = ult cost × 20

    I like the idea - i'd suggest:

    - AoE taunt + def buff for tank
    - Phoenix revival, all resource regen for healer (to avoid makign this op, could be that it returns fixed resources to group, so the more it has to heal (or REVIVE) people, the less resources (stam, magicka) it returns, to the point where if it has to revive 3 people, its going to end up reviving them to half health, if it has to revive 1, it revives to full health + gives back 15% magicka/stam do all) if it revives none, gives back 40% magicka/stam to all, you get the idea)
    - DPS, strong AoE debuff - I wouldnt actually make it do damage. But an unbreakable 30% AoE armor and attack debuff, that the enemy needs to leave in order to get rid of, would be insane, and mixed in with roots or snares could be really lethal.

    Minor Slayer and Minor Aegis for 20 seconds would be perfect, since some people don't have a Trial set. What's more, it combines with the Undaunted theme.

    Battle Cry of Undaunted
    • Minor Slayer and Minor Aegis, 250 Ultimate, Instant, 20 seconds, 18m radius.
    Morph 1
    • Gain Major Slayer and increases all healing done by 5% for 10 seconds.
    Morph 2
    • Gain Major Aegis and increases all damage done by 5% for 10 seconds.

    These ideas are vastly too serious.

    Song of the Undaunted - Cost 500 Ultimate - Range 28 meters

    The battle comes to a sudden halt as you and your entire party erupts in a rousing rendition of the Undaunted song. All party members are stunned for 7s. All enemies are stunned for 10s. This cannot be resisted.

    Morph 1 - Ballad of the Undaunted - increase stun duration to 10s for allies, 15s for enemies.

    Morph 2 - Dirge of the Undaunted - all allies also heal for 2% maximum HP per second while stunned.



    Seriously, I'd make it a buff ultimate (damage and damage resist) for the party, with Morph 1 an irresistible AoE stun for three seconds and Morph 2 adding a healing component. The ultimate support, err...ultimate!

    Slightly off-topic here but on the subject of broken synergies I have to say I used to complain a lot about them. As a tank it made my job more complicated having to dance around hitting the key a dozen times and the synergy would not work.

    I decided to remap my synergy key. I have yet to miss one since I did. Turns out it's probably the key starting to fail due to the constant bashing it endures. Probably just something on my side and synergies are broken for other players. But for me it was entirely on my side.

    I would rather have an AoE taunt.
    Taunting Shout: Cost 50 ultimate, all mobs in 50 meters are taunted for 20 seconds.
    Reviving Shout:1st morph applies minor life steal to all enemies taunted.
    Restoring Shout: 2nd morph double down the synergy restore resources of the undaunted passive and applies 500 spell and weapons damage to all synergies.
    This would be great in trash pulls.

    I don’t think this game needs an AOE taunt. Maybe make the undaunted ultimate an alternative to either Warhorn or Barrier.

    Please no aoe taunt. We do not need it. Instead this ultimate should follow the same idea as the rest of the skills in the line, group synergy. What about an ultimate that either buffs other ultimates or makes them cost less. Other morphs could include self buffs for variation.

    Ultimate called Wrath of the Forums:

    Grants major expedition and 500 weapon and spell damage on self. Put 70% snare on all group members with lower CP than self - they were slowing you down anyway. Add taunt effect to all direct damage skills for the player in the tank role. Autokicks lowest dps dd and anyone who took the quest.

    Morph 1: also nerfs sorcs

    Morph 2: also buffs sorcs

    Morph 3: ok maybe this wasn't a constructive comment. Perhaps go for one of the previous serious suggestions that buffs depending on role instead?

    Move warhorn to undaunted 10.
    Give us a fun PvP ultimate in the assault line and get creative with it, something unique.

    Siege Master: All siege fire becomes unpurgable and repair kits are twice as strong for 20 seconds.
    Wrobel's Touch: The currently targeted enemy player dies. #balance
    Battle Charge: Cast retreating maneuvers on up to 20 nearby allies for 15 seconds. The effect is not lost when healing or attacking.
    Cloak Buster: All stealthed players within 15m are revealed and explode for 15k damage. A squat thrusting shade is placed on all enemies dispatched in this manner.
    Stop That: The next templar to throw a javelin at you gets banned from the server.

    Just make it memorable and clearly designed for PvP.

    I can make a suggestion for a healer ult tho: Releases 3 surges that heal based on ultimate being used, low would be 100.
    First morph is increase range but become targetted, second morph increases the pulse to 5 and keeps following the caster.
    Now lets make it somewhat betterish by adding in synergy to restore 1/3 magic or stam whichever is higher for max.
