Has anyone else noticed that after an initial flurry of posts following complaints about their failure to reply to queries and issues, @ZO$ have gone quiet again?

Over the last four pages in recent discussions there is not one single new post from @ZO$ apart from a couple of the usual moderating ones. I didn't bother to go back further as it was too depressing.

Come on @ZO$, please do your job and respond to us, instead of constantly ignoring us.

    They don't post at weekends, but prior to that they've been posting most days. Personally I wouldn't expect them to, given the negativity shown here towards them and the game. I'm sure they're also busy on a lot of things at this time of the year.

    I see a lot of people who have constructive well thought out ideas. It would be nice if they did respond more. It makes the community feel like they are listening. Hell I sent every mod an email, PM's , and started two threads about the rarity of morrowind furnishing plans (purple). Not a peep. I really did not expect it anyways. The few times I have seen what the mods say it's usually a bunch of nothing or they are promoting something new to sell.

    Some people being rude on a message board shouldn't be a reason to not communicate with your customers about product defects. Go look at how many unanswered bug threads there are. It's no wonder that people get frustrated to the point of being rude.

    I have to say it's very time consuming to answer each and every post.
    1. You have to read the post completely (they say they try to do this)
    2. they have to talk to the responsible Devs what they think about the topic or if they are working on this
    3. they have to reread the posts which where added in the meantime and do 2 again
    4. They answer the post

    I guess that could be 1-2 hours per post and don't forget that's not the only thing they have to do. I don't think it's possible to get this done it would be cool but it won't happen

    A nice feature would be if there was an Icon "read by a Dev or something similar that shows if they've read a post

    You've only been here eight months. Not even long enough to actually observe how the studio operates in December. Not even long enough to realize this forum isn't wish fulfillment if you merely clap loudly enough.

    Yeah, well, that’s their own doing. If they would listen to some of the suggestions they wouldn’t have that problem. For as many people that are throwing fits and acting an ass, there are just many people giving constructive criticism and asking nicely for positive changes.

    Yes it’s the end of the year. Yes there’s a lot to do.
    That’s why they hire people to handle the community. And yet, silence.

    They have spurts but I too am disappointed in communication. Holidays are here so I expect little more than just enough to chew on and work ourselves into a froth until after the first of the year.

    Lmao, you wouldn’t expect them to do their jobs because frustrated, paying customers are “mean” to them?! That’s the most absurd thing I’ve heard all week. Not even they would agree with something so ridiculous. This is not a charity service out of the kindness of their hearts; they get paid to deal with this. In addition, they remove overly harsh, undeserved criticism towards the staff (sometimes they even remove deserved comments). Most criticism towards the game is, quite frankly, deserved, even if some people do get a bit too cynical about the situation. Their communication remains terrible as well. I’m well aware that these community managers don’t have all the answers, but it’d be nice if they were more frequent in at least responding to topics addressed to them and were more involved with the community in general.

    Yeah. I'm disappointed and a little annoyed about the combat update thing. I wonder if they realize how they come across with the extreme drought of communication. If somebody somewhere is thinking it will result eventually in more cordiality, they are gravely mistaken.

    honestly, I think its the holiday season. Hanukkah is currently ongoing, Christmas and Kwanza is in few days, people are traveling to be with their families, I would't blame them if communications are slim until at least few days into January. they are people too, you know.

    You do realize that it’s only about a week until Christmas so perhaps some of their employees are taking time off to be with their families? They are usually quiet this time of the year, and understandably so. I’m sure they will have some news soon on the next update and their plans.

    Theyve been pretty quiet regardless. Gina and Jessica do come out and say things every now and again, but we have not seen the Wrobels and I am wondering if the PvP design guy is even employed any more.

    actually, thats not their job. if it was, they'd never get any actual work done. You just arent that important. Nor are many others who think quoting a list of names in their post is worthy of a reply by ZOS staff. Im sure everything gets read regardless of if you quote @ symbols in it, but replies takes time and then you have to deal with replies to those etc.

    Listening does not equal action. If most of the suggestions we see on these forums were implemented it'd be a compete disaster. Most folks don't have the ability to see the bigger picture, and as players we can only see a portion of it to begin with.

    Reading player suggestions and taking them into consideration happens and is what should be done. The lack of acting on it is not ignoring it.
