Kinda wanting to try out this new Fortified Brass set out as seeing 20k+ resists without any buffs seems pretty nice while in Light Armor and getting the Light armor passives. My problem is finding a set that sounds good to combo with it to get get decent damage. I was considering running 2 piece Skoria then I've been considering running 5 War Maiden but that only buffs magic damage abilities and I'd be losing out on damage with my comet and vampires bane. I've been told several times to Soulshine but honestly that would only help my jabs and my radiant and seeing as radiant is my execute then I dont find that set that great. What's another good set to run? I was considering running Spinners but between all CP, 4k from spinners and over 4k from light armor passives am I honestly losing out not using something else?

✭Brass does nothing for recovery or damage, so you have to get a lot of bang for your buck in your 5pc. I'd also recommend an offensive monster set.
Wizards, amber plasm, rattlecage, desert rose for solo play.
Group transmutation, spc (personal favorite for small scale), blood thorn were nice.1 -

✭✭Riposte tends to be a better defensive set overall in terms of real mitigation.
I don't really know enough about magplar, or how much they need statwise in order to be a true offensive threat, but even with Wizards Riposte and Fortified brass you should be able to still put the hurt on most people.
Could even go for infused plus divines to get a bit more damage as well.Lord and Savior of the Association of Serious S***posters.

✭✭✭✭✭Should be mentioned, brass is easier to create than trying to farm for trans/reposte. For CP160 players looking to try out PvP, much better to create cp150 brass gear to test out pvp than it is to deal with trying to spend all your gold getting the right sets.
For those looking for BiS, brass will help fill out resists in LA, but bleed builds will make you think twice. If you still wanted to go ahead, you could arguably drop hardy/ele defender in favor of brass+ironclad/thick skin with the rest filling in your crit resists/quick recovery stats.

For this build you're stacking resistance, and you have access to block casting (huge) especially with a 10k+ honor the dead tooltip. Also access to Reverb which alone can be a reason to run SnB. You have the ability to go on the defense and offense whenever you want to, extra mitigation, block casting and it's perfect for having breath of life on your front bar rather than your back bar.
The only time I want to be on my back bar is far a quick buff or purge swap. Doing the opposite can leave you stuck on the defense and being on the defense usually means it's over but behold a quick bol on snb bar and you're ready to get back to it.
