I’m a bit curious about trying TBS with necropotence now that we can run 5-5-2, for 58k magicka, 2600 spell damage a d 20k health

What would u pick for your other mundas.
grab the mage mundus and the apprentice

Thanks foe the reply. I know what i would chose . Ibguess i worded the question poorly. Wanted to see what Bobby was running.

Yeah, mage and apprentice, if I dropped apprentice sd drops down to ~2100. Not a high damage build though, bit tankier on account of the extra health. I ran a few normal dungeons and just found it to be underperforming so went back to necro/infallible with just the mage mundus.

For these max magicka builds, is VMA staff still best to use back bar?

So going all in on one resource does not provide the best result. Shocking...

For PVE DPS, its always the best result. For sorc in particular, it buffs every tick of a lighting heavy attack. Few things in this game can contribute as much DPS from a single item as a VMA staff on a heavy attack sorc.

Question. Are magSorcs using execute? I mean with liquid front bar (which is so better to weave) it would have to go back bar and either lose siroria or lose mothers sorrow. Well I guess not siroria if you seap bars to maintain stack?

I know some who are, I'm not, but probably should?
    I dunno, it's optional.

I would probably go liquid back bar and move wrath to front bar. it would be insane to not have that +crit during execute.

I’d love to see a general consensus on this. Can find a lot of 40k+ dps magsorc builds. Highest I’ve seen so far is a 46k pet magsorc build but would love to see a comparison of pet vs non pet and what sets now really make those shine.

Pet builds are stronger, but can't be used everywhere so in general end game mag sorcs will avoid them.

Burn phases are so short, and Fury is so weak, that you typically won't see a big benefit from slotting the execute and are better off with Aegis/Inner Light and letting your DoTs proc Implosion.
On pet sorc, that is. Almost all your damage comes from DoTs, so a spammable execute is obviously quite unfit. It might be a different case for non-pet light attack rotations, but I can't comment on that.

See, I’ve read the opposite. I’ve read that pet sorc is easier, but non pet mag sorc can put out more damage, just with a higher skill ceiling.
