Should I be running Netch, Juli, Necro or Mother's Sorrow?
I'll be running a pet build, along with Maw of the Infernal and 4 pieces of IA.
I've seen some pretty good parses from all of them except Netch, so given I won't be pushing for a vet trial leaderboard score does it really matter too much?

✭✭Julianos is honestly your best bet, given that since the mundus stone changes you tend to be a bit on the low side for spell crit with Necropotence nowadays.
Julianos is also by far the most versatile of the three sets.Lord and Savior of the Association of Serious S***posters.

Yes, they do but i get 580 spell damage and 830 critical from Spider Cultist. I weave a lot of heavy attacks for sustain.

Makes for a good non-pet HA build from what I hear. But lower DPS than a pet-build.1 -

MyrddinEmrys✭✭✭Personally, I run Julianos + IA + Ilambris.
That being said, mathematically there is little difference between the sets your mentioned. In terms of raw damage output, and making a hell of a lot of assumptions about what specific skills you are using and how you play: Julianos > Necropotence > Mothers Sorrow. With about a 1-3% DPS loss each set as you move down the line.
Like I said though, I'm making a ton of assumptions about your skills, play style, rotation, CPs, skill level, etc. So really here is the correct answer at the end of the day:
For the current (CWC) patch, play balance is fairly decent, so really, REALLY, just use what you have or what you want. Its a game. If your not having fun you are doing it wrong. If you find grinding for gear to be fun, then get all 3 sets and try them each out to see what works for you! 1 -

That's what I'm using right now. It is comparable to Maw/Necro/Moondancer. I can consistently hit 40-42k with it on the 3mil dummy. It's great for loading up big bursts of damage (Liquid lightning, Blockade, Familiar pulse, Prey, Destro ulti, Lightning heavy attack). Proc it from the front bar staff when everything is ticking for 5 seconds of massive damage. At the 10 second mark in my solo parses my dps peaks around 60k.
