https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X1kcTdzKb_E Question, for those who are at the cap (I have like 9 so long way for me)
If you hit the cap of 200 Crystals, does that include the Geodes? Can you have both Geodes and Crystals on hand if you have 200 Crystals?

Geodes almost certainly do not count towards the total. However, they do chew up an inventory slot, don't stack, and can't be banked (like any other container).

I realize that, but if you can keep a few Geodes that have say 10 or 50 Crystals in it, it can be worth using up a few slots.

I think of the stones as more of a token system - it's not a replacement for grinding, it's just a supplement so that people who did grind and were not blessed with the item they wanted by RNG can still get the items they wanted.
When I think of it in that light, it makes perfect sense.
This. You wouldn't believe the salt in zone chat at the end of the 30 day cyrodiil campaign this month when a bunch of people opened geodes only to lose most of their crystals because they were near cap from RFTW. It certainly wasn't clearly explained that 200 was your limit, or that you just waste crystals if you open a geode which puts you over cap. Luckily, I wasn't affected, but only because I was warned in zone chat at end of campaign by people who weren't so lucky.Imagine if you could only collect 20 purple tempers at a time and any others you picked up past that point were erased. The argument could be made that it prevents players from being able to improve all of their new gear to purple whenever they want or when new gear is released. But that is a terrible reason for a cap.

I was wondering if that was the case. I have been saving all of my 50 crystal geodes. I am sitting at around 180 stones so I stopped opening the Rewards for the worthy boxes because I thought you might lose some if you got a 25 cyrstal geode. Glad I know for sure.
Has anyone confirmed that you can peak inside if you turn off autoloot?
Can you open RotW mail on other characters? I know you have to log in on the character receiving it for it to appear, but I didn't know you could open it on others.

The system is designed to give a “finish line” for players that have spent time getting gear ... but not yet in the right trait.
The system is not intended to replace running content for the gear sets themselves ... hence the cap.
