Because they think it's too hard. It's not too hard, you just have to understand that it takes time to actually become decent at it. It requires a lot of skill to be good.1 -

This is true, on both counts, especially the PVE-er bit.
Hence why I basicly just hung it and started doing normals. Alot less horrible people.2 -
Jarryzzt✭✭✭✭PVE exclusively, because World of Tanks ruined other MMOs for me from a PVP perspective. [Even though it's not technically an MMORPG. It's just it's hard for me to go back to elves swinging swords at each other after literally thousands of 15x15 deathmatches in tanks. The epicness is just not there.]
Also, if I really wanted another PVP experience I'd go back to EVE (again). Although there you really have to group with people to do it properly.0 -

gabormezo✭✭✭I mainly PvPI'm here only for PvP, which despite its flaws, the best in the genre by far. Battlegrounds CP is epic, it was a very good move by my opinion.
Edit: the main feature of ESO pvp is that you shouldn't grind in pve after every freaking patch. Gear cap is heaven, and U can be effective with stuff that u can buy in guild stores.Edited by gabormezo on December 2, 2017 9:16AM0 -

No, it's just a game and nobody is terrified of a game. They don't PvP because they don't enjoy it. Rather like some PvPers don't do a lot of PvE because they don't enjoy it, not because PvE terrifies them.
I know PvPers like to think that they scare "carebears" but the reality is that they don't. The PvPers who can only function in a zerg, or who can only get their jollies from griefing lower-level players and then tea-bagging them, they're the real "terrified carebears"

✭✭✭✭✭I mainly PvEI went into Cyrodiil once, or maybe twice. Followed my guild leader around getting some skyshards, briefly ran with a zerg (not sure what they were doing other than running between locations) and got killed, revived, went back to hunting sky shards... I will probably do more of it at some point, but for now there's more than enough PvE content to occupy my time.
