Hello,

I was just wondering where the population spends their time the most.. Is it PvP, PvE or both equally?

I mainly PvE now, although I do PvP still.

I spent the first two years of ESO doing almost exclusively PvP though so I grew a little bored of it.

I do PVE too but after doing dungeons, raids and everything else for years with my toons
    I have seen it
doing all new DLC with my main anyway and with 1 or 2 from the others as well

currently I have a thing with one of my wardens, she found some parts of the construct from CWC, so she will go there soon, to hand the parts in, gather the shards and then never ever go there again

    I do both.
I've always loved the lore, and questing has tons of stories. Always found the Tribunal story fascinating, and now with CwC, I've got to quest for all 3 living Gods. Good stuff! I find dungeons and trials extremely fun...
PvP is more exciting because you test your build by situation and not just by rotation. It's more reaction than muscle memory. And when it's not player on player, it's fun to zerg keeps and AP farm. I started PvP to get abilities, like caltrops and vigor...but I stay for fun.
I get if one or the other isn't your thing, but personally I find both to be enjoyable for thier own sake.

I have a lot of fun creating builds (or trying to!) that are viable in PVP, but often need armour sets and jewellery from PVE.

I also enjoy levelling new chars which is more engaging and efficient via PVE.

So enjoy both for this reason :)

I cannot for the life of me play PVP without wanting to go to sleep. At least Battlegrounds is less lame, but it's full of player level imbalances that makes me not wanna play it either. Sucks because I only bought Morrowind for its 50% off and with hype about Battlegrounds.

Considering 95% of the game is pve, its kinda of a bias poll.

I was a PVE'er. Oh, such a PVE'er. Most people go to Cyrodiil to get the skyshards....

I went for the fish. ZOS, why you put the ocean fish right in front of the AD gates? Why?

    I went for the fish.
I came back for the skyshards.
I came back for the Imperial City.
    I ran the training missions.
I started to follow people around and got killed lots of times.
I equipped a resto staff, started healing, and still got killed lots of times. Rezzed up, kept going.

Now I PVP several nights a week with an organized raid that I really feel at home with and still PVE several nights a week with friends. PVP added a tone of enjoyment to my time in ESO and I really like doing both forms of content.

I do both and love both.

PvE is relaxing and easy great way to make money also most of the achievements are pve related like trials vet dungeons also skins to get.

PvP is fun and challenges me. It’s fun to hang out with ur friends and kill them. The best part of pvp is gear! Way more theory crafting and trying out new builds against other players. In pve it’s the same sets for most amount damage and everyone uses the same thing.

    LOL true!

What I've learned over the years playing MMOs is, if someone kills me in PVP I am a noob and need to learn2play. But if I kill him then my class needs a nerf.

    It's pretty accurate.

If you die in PvP, you indeed need to L2P. If you kill then your class quite possibly needs a nerf.

    Mostly PVE, 'cause PVP:

    4ba54dcde8372a34994c1bb2d1c80dbbb938d497952c90f3b410fcf146691f0b.jpg

The PVP environment is interesting and I go there rarely mostly due to not taking the time to improve in that area so it's general lack of effort on my part.
If you are angry about anything in this game you are only punishing yourself.

The real question is: what would I like to play the most?

The answer is: PvP of course. PvE isn't dynamic enough, when you beat all the content you'll quickly lose interest in it.
But this bs what ESO currently offers isn't worthy of holding the title of PvP.

I've played a lot of games and I must say that my biggest mistake was trusting that MMORPG can bring good PvP experience. If you want good PvP experience and balanced gameplay, play a PvP-focused game.
