Shall we relax dungeon roles during the dungeon event? A referendum on a moratorium

If you can't fulfill the basic requirements of the role, done queue for it. Doing it with only friends you know you will not need a random to drop into your group is one thing, but doing so individually not knowing who else will be there is just plain rude, and during this event can do some damage to the wider ESO gaming community as a whole.

This event is bringing out a lot of people (self included) that don't typically do dungeons, or don't do them often. Many will be learning mechanics for the first time, seeing content for the first time, and doing the quests for the first time. Many will be new characters, and players are getting used to a class they do not yet know or know well, and gear that may not be ideal for their level or build. For some, this may be the first time they have done group content. Many of these experiences will color their perceptions of this part of the game for a long time, and may either turn them on or off of doing this content.

Not all of them read the forums and understand the differences between the classic three key roles. Only a few of them may be in a place where their build is working as they intend and is a dungeon-role-functional build. For many, the only place they will learn these roles is in the game itself with more experienced players showing them the basics. This is a great opportunity to do some community building and teaching the players of future, harder content how to do it, and a major component of that is teaching the roles... and one of the best ways to teach is to model the ideal yourself.
