After crown store, crown crates, expansive limited items, xp scrolls, riding lessons, consumables, housing items that we can pay only with crowns, etc...

✭I don't know, there some cheap monetization tactis out there like a real money in game currency, but a AAA like ESO I really doubt they will reach that low.

It depends on which part of the ESO community. Pvp community is the worst. I don't miss it at all

I've created this thread, because I remember they said they are working on transmog system, but they also said a part of ESO plus will be buyable for those who don't have ESO plus if I remember correctly.
Sadly, I'm not able to find where I read that on forum exactly. There is too many messages in dev tracker who are not interesting and are hidding usefull informations.
I was wondering how this transmog system will be added in game. Something like homstead, free update but with a lot of options for pay in real money, hence pushing a little further monetization?
So, yes I am a bit worried about the future of ESO.

If ZOS has proven anything over the years they have proven they will sell ANYTHING people are willing to buy, the game effect is a distant second (which wasnt always the case).

✭✭✭✭✭They have lots of opportunities. As I said in another comment, I expect that they will have a change in philosophy with the Crown Store. Crown Crates are intoxicating to studios.
Two that I see are rather simple.
First, a mobile app that will allow players to buy Crowns, then buy and open Crown Crates, from their phone or tablet. Crown Crates can be enhanced to include mobile-friendly consumables to encourage use of the app. It is a major win for them if they can get people to spend more time playing Crown Crates than the spend playing ESO, even if for a short time.
Second, I am wondering how long the "no weapons and armor" will stand. I don't expect it to last all the way to the end of the game.

I don't pay ESO+, but otherwise we are exact, I pretty much only buy the DLCs too, I'm not a huge nut over the cosmetics. I buy crowns outright once in a blue moon to get what I want DLC wise.Wishing for Lilmothiit race still! Or maybe Lilmothiit companion?1
