"DirectX 11.3 and 12 are included with these Windows versions. There is no stand-alone package for these versions of DirectX."
I had that issue (directX) with any game and that so called DRIVER update LOOP with the drivers 397.31 installed (where it displayed that the drivers were available to download/install even so they were already installed, after each restart). Do not install those drivers yet until an official fix is out from nvidia. If you already have...then follow steps to rollback the driver to a previous version.

Roll back your nvidia driver to the previous one, it will fix the problem, as i said above.

Woke up this morning and got the same DirectX message.
I have DirectX 12. Followed the ZoS link, but didn't help at all.
FYI~ DirectX is updated thru Windows Updates. Copied this from Windows...."DirectX 11.3 and 12 are included with these Windows versions. There is no stand-alone package for these versions of DirectX."
Updates will be available through Windows Update. There is no stand-alone package for these versions of DirectX.
ATM, I am up-dating my Windows. Then I will check my Nividia updates, and try again.
Will let ya know if it works for me too...
