I know it's not ideal and all teh meta people will freak, but please keep it to yourself, i think we all know by now it's not meta, but just fun if you do do it. So I'm curious to hear how many magical werewolves there is around.

As the title says, do you use WW on toons that are based around magicka? Maybe as a solo 'oh crud' button to fall back on?

If you don't use werewolf at all, why are you here? XD. *Adds a not a werewolf option anyway because the public*

I understand not min-maxing, as I’ve never cared about that myself. But I don’t really see the point in this. Werewolf is a million times more irritating to play without a wealth of stamina imo. I’d rather not be that lazy one in the pack that has to stop and take a breather after five seconds of running lol.

Completely pointless on a mag build, not meant harshly.
Once I was a lamb, playing in a green field. Then the wolves came. Now I am an eagle and I fly in a different universe.

I play a WW on my Magblade, but I quickly throw on two stamina sets (one is salvation) using Alphagear whenever I want to have some WW fun.

I get about 30k stamina with tripot food so enough to get around for a while in WW form.

Actually as my WW line is maxed, I can remain a WW for quite a long time, even on a magica character.

I use it on some of my weaker magicka toons that are more focused for healing, mainly for solo content where they need a upper hand. With all that magicka, the healing howl skill heals a lot and you can cast it more often then stamina builds so it can come in handy occasionally.

On my magicka NB, i had to solo a Dungeon Boss because all my teammates died, I switched to WW and managed to kill it off almost all on my own, it was fun. Took a while yeah, but my people kept wiping so....

I tried a WW magicka templar with Reactive, Wizards Reposte, and Pirate Skeleton. Very tanky in WW form but no damage output.

Damage is pretty low, I recommend getting the white morph so you have two pets, then buff them with howls, that works okay.

I play a character called "Gives Me Wood Elf" because I am a mature and sensible person.

My Magplar main is a Werewolf, but I don't actually use it for anything other than giving bites. Then again, the same goes for my actual stamina builds. Several of them are werewolves. I only use it for biting, and I'm almost never asked for bites these days.

I would change my main into a vampire, but I'm not very inclined to do that since that character got infected by a "random" werewolf spawn during that real life blood moon a few years back.

My Mag Sorc was a werewolf just long enough to get the achievement and was glad to be done with it. Maybe other people can find a synergy but for me it was oil and water, while my Stam DK WW was oil and a V8 engine.

If WW weren't so heavily based around the ultimate skill, I might have considered it, even if purely for fluff (RP) reasons.

To wit, on my vampire characters I've moved away from actually using any vampire active skills - but there one has the benefits of vampire passives, which kick in irrespective of whether you use the actives or the ultimate. And so there are still some advantages to my using the...race? class? monstrosity?..irrespective of whether I am magicka or stamina based, class, etc.

If WW were something like it, e.g. had some passives not tied to WW form and with benefits that are not necessarily tied to magicka or stamina (e.g. +health recovery and faster run speed, vs. vampires' +magicka/stamina recovery and faster movement in stealth), then I could easily justify putting it on a magicka-based character even if it weren't "good min-maxing".

However, the reality is what the reality is. Hence, no furries for me.

There was a time WW was BiS. Really just being WW but most did not use it. We received a stam regen passive without having to slot a the ultimate and WW there was zero downside since WW only received additional poison damage when in WW form.

This was after 1.6/2.0. We knew it would change since so many became WW.

WW is really only good if one is going to use it and it is fun. Have seen some WWs tear it up in both PvE and PvP. However, will only do well on a stam based character since it does require using the WW skills when in form and all are stam based, iirc. I do not think that has changed.

I used to before the passive stamina nerf. Was a long time ago that I used it on my NB healer. I found the extra Stamina regen helped with blocking and dodge rolling in dungeons when I needed to.
